"With a 7 yr old boy and a 10 yr old boy. Swimming pool was warm and fun. Went to to sports hall for football and badminton. Next day went cycling. We had a little dog with us and it was no problem. All of Aviemore is dog friendly. Lovely time. "

"I have passed the inn many times over the years and always wanted to stay . The photos online , pub with log burning fire , fantastic food . When I arrived no one on site pub lights on . Easy access to room which was lovely, read through the extensive and appetising menu , went down to find pub lights on but all locked up . Called the number to be told that they open at weekends. It was now after 7 , had to jump in the car and drive to nearby town , lots of fast food places an Indian Chinese restaurant. As a woman on her own I was looking forward to going down for dinner then back to my room . Came back again didn’t see a soul dark but pub lit up thank goodness. Not the stay I expected. "

"The service was wonderful. The staff helped arrange things like taxis and a horse ride and made sure I got breakfast before an early morning tour (excellent scones!). They were especially accommodating on my last day when I was taking a late train, allowing me to shower and have a place to hang out for a little while in the late afternoon. The common areas feel historic but comfortable and well kept. The rooms are mostly updated but if you want a historic feel, be sure to request it. Pretty much all the rooms are a little different. There’s a lovely walled garden onsite and I got selfies with the Highland cows in the neighboring field. Just know that if you don’t have a car, it’s about a £12-14 cab ride from town. "

"Parking good Spacy room heating not good enough for the room size .stayed before but this time slightly disappointed."

"Booked 2 adults 3 children. To which we were given 2 separate rooms nowhere near each other. Asked for them to be near. They offered room next door but didn’t point out smaller bed and the most uncomfortable thing I’ve gone on. I’m slim and lying on there must have been an inch between me n bed base. Anyone slightly larger wd have been on it. Paid for 2 big beds. And not what given. Pretty disappointing"
