The hosts were incredibly attentive and wonderful! The area is absolutely beautiful…a car is necessary for exploring! The taxis are quite expensive… Everything was wonderful. Highly recommend!

We were made to feel really welcome. The owners were very attentive and assisted with local information. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices including home grown produce. Would highly recommend.

Great old French farmhouse and yes there are cats (7)! Easy parking and beautiful gardens. Gregarious hostess made the stay fun - Celine had great suggestions for restaurants and tips on seeing the sights. Breakfast was yummy and quite filling, handmade with care and extra special because the fruits were grown on the property and the eggs were from their own hens. Perfect place to stay to visit all the military sites and a short hop to Bayeux too.

Best folks and service ever
I stayed here and couldn't have been more satisfied. Celine told me that the place was my home while I was there. She meant it! The place was clean quaint and 3 km from Omaha Beach. Each morning, she and Jerome made the guests home-made breakfast with their own eggs, homemade yogurt, jams, breads, etc. It was great. Once, I went to a bar that required cash, I only had a credit card, and told Celine about it. She went and got me two of Jerome's beers and only charged me what she paid. This wasn't expected but it was appreciated. Also, I got a parking ticket and asked her to translate it for me. Not only did she do that, Jerome went out of his way and paid the ticket for me, to save me 10 euros. Celine and Jerome are two of the nicest people I have ever met in my 58 years. She even planned my days in detail for me. They made a trip that could have been stressful into a pleasant journey. Do yourself a favor and meet these wonderful people and their pets. PS, as I was leaving one morning, she said my dinner would be in the refrigerator when I got back. Again totally unexpected, but wonderful. It was homemade quiche!

Perfect! Very clean, great property, peaceful. Friendly hosts that are very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast is spectacular!!!!! Parking on site. I’m ready to go back!

I loved this entire visit. Top shelf service by Jerome and Celine. The breakfast was unbelieveable and we rested very well here. Even had a picnic on the farm! 7 cats and a darling french bulldog.

Paul & Lorraine in Normandy, August 2023.
Host Jerome & Hostess Celine were amazing, breakfast above expectations! We had eggs (from her own chickens) and bacon, fruit and all her own jams plus crepes and cakes, the spread was endless. One thing you learn to do in Normandy if you want to eat out in the evening you have to book!! Celine managed to book our three evening meals and we had some great culinary experiences. The location of this B&B is right in the middle of the D Day beaches we covered them all and Pegasus bridge in 2.5 days. There was plenty of grounds and gardens and secure parking.

My wife and I stayed one night and would highly recommend this host. The facilities were clean and spacious. Breakfast was fantastic and the hosts were amazing. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Absolute perfection!!!!
If I could rate this place with 6 stars out of five I would. It is simply perfect. There is no better place to stay in Normandy! The food is delicious the rooms are spotless. The hosts are incredibly kind and thoughtful. I already plan to go back with my family. From their cats to the chickens and gardens it is the perfect blend of quiet French hospitality and beauty.

A delightful B&B with delightful hosts
What a wonderful place to stay! We were only there for one night, but it would be a fantastic option for longer. The hosts were friendly and very knowledgeable about the things to see and do around Omaha Beach. If you need anything in this area, thisnis the place tou need to stay.

Céline and Jérôme were great hosts; very kind and friendly. I appreciate the time they spent giving us directions and recommending places to visit. The room was spacious, clean and silent. The breakfast was delicious, with viennoiseries, home-made jam and eggs from their own chickens. The property is very close to Omaha beach and all the D-Day hot spots. If I ever go back to Normandy I'd definitely book a stay here again.

Celine and Jerome were wonderful. They treated us as family. The B&B is gorgeous, immaculate and very cozy! Our room was perfect for my husband and I. Omaha beach is walking distance from the B&B. Fantastic location. We would most definitely stay here again.

If you’re in France, and visiting Normandy, one must stay @ La Ferme aux Chats. The BEST B&B I’ve ever stayed at. 👍 Reasonably priced, centrally located to everything you’d ever want to see in Normandy, and an ‘off-the-chart’ excellent breakfast. [Everything homemade … 7 different jellies, croissant, crêpes, yogurt & butter (yes - homemade yogurt & butter) and eggs (From her chickens) … the juice was fresh squeezed & the coffee was 10,000 times better than any Starbucks) The curator, Celine et Jerome, greeted me at the gate and said: ‘You are Pierre Gaudet?’ ‘Oui.’ ‘We have a Gaudet in our family !! ‘ ‘Really? No way!!’ ‘Tu pourrais être notre oncle fou d'amérique’ Not sure what she said, but we bonded immediately 🙂🇫🇷

Our hosts gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home. The property superseded our expectations. It’s an absolutely charming place. Very spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable room. There was a lot of attention to details and the breakfast was bountiful and included homemade jams and French toast. Our only regret was that we only spent one night. Would definitely return for a longer stay.

We loved this property. The hostess is very kind and personable. We enjoyed chatting with her. She cooked us eggs in the morning and prepped our coffee. The breakfast was delicious - especially the French toast she made us! She made sure we were comfortable. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Check-in was easy. Very convenient location for visiting the WWII sites in Normandie. We hope to visit again in the future.

Wow! One of my best Bed and Breakfast experiences ever. I got lost on the backroads of Normandy so arrived a bit late. Host was waiting for me, helped me find a restaurant that was still open for dinner, and served a breakfast that was fresh, homemade, hot and included plenty of coffee! The grounds around the property are wonderful - beautiful garden, beautiful home. I will be back soon with family as this is a must stay location.

A dream spot
This place was fantastic! The owner was a sweetheart! So friendly and helpful. The place had fabulous decor. It really felt cozy. And was so clean! Like I clean for a living and was impressed. The breakfast was delicious. Homemade jam from her garden. Our stay was short, wish we could have spent more time in this spot. Very close to Omaha beach.
