"Our family really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The real star of the show was most definitely the beautiful beach right out the front door! The gentle waves, gorgeous view, and playing on the beach with our kids was truly awesome. George was a gracious host and was great to communicate with. He was even kind enough to leave us some firewood, which we used to make s’mores a couple nights on the beach. The inside of the place was very clean. If you’re looking for a fancy place, this might not be your cup of tea. We enjoy these sorts of places! George has provided some gentle maintenance, but in fairness there are some areas that could use some TLC (nothing that caused us any serious issues). A few minor things to be aware of when booking: The beach is NOT like most public beaches that have cleared all the trees etc. So, there are bugs. You’re on the water, so that should be expected! George left bug spray which we used. I think the owner has tried to maximize how many people can sleep here. That said, there’s a very large amount of furniture in this cabin. Probably too much. We typically like to hang up our clothes, but the downstairs BR had a bunk and full size bed that blocked the only accessible closet. Living room is packed with couches. Last, if you have any light-sleepers in your group the road can be noisy when sleeping (Particularly when semis or dumps go by). Luckily not a very busy road. Just something to be aware of. We certainly enjoyed our stay!"

"Awesome time! The host was accommodating and communicative. Super clean place and just a small walk to the beach. We had a great time and plan on going back. Neighbors were great as well! Highly recommend!"

Luxury Lake Huron Lakefront Home w/ Indoor Pool, Spa & Game Room - Sleeps 20!

"We loved it stocked with EVERYTHING..the teenagers used the paddle boards and kayaks and they loved the indoor pool! We are all checking out calendars and plan on returning next year maybe late June early July! And my parents who are in there 80's said the drive from Ohio to Michigan they as nice and short! You will definitely see our family again.Thank you Crolleys, Auers and the Wininger Families"

Lakefront Forestville Paradise w/ Private Beach!

"Great trip, Great Communication with a few wants but I'd love to stay here again.Love the View and house. You really don't need to bring anything except maybe an air fryer. The beach was great and we loved walking to the city beach with some coffee in morning.Black flies are frequent this time of year near the water and I'd bring a fogger next time but only wife got bit.Grandkids loved the stay and the house was very clean and inviting. Great amenities (washer, dryer,wifi) air conditioning was perfect on couple of hot days but Forestville is much cooler than at home and we love that. We like to rock hunt and we found great Petosky stones right in front of house. We didn't get a chance to use Gas Grill but a nice one by the looks. We spent all day outside but what a nice house and covered patio to come back to ."

"We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The views are amazing. The hot tub was so relaxing. The barbecue grill made for some great meals. The beds are comfortable and the place was spotless. Our questions were answered immediately. We are planning when we can return!"

Lake Huron Front Cabin

"Beautiful little gem. Seemed newly remodeled. Shower was lovely, lots of suprisingly nice finishes for a little up north cabin. Property was full of native flower and fauna. Kind of felt like a private nature preserve. Wish I had recorded all the sounds to sleep with at home...except the angry chipmunk..he was a bit rude. Water is low so no swimming access on property but its replaced by this magical ecosystem. Get yourself up and experience the sunset from the log by the beach firepit. One other thing we noticed is despite the receding lake effect we never got one mosquito. I dont know if it was the wind or what? The house also has a heater and air conditioning but we ranged between 55 at night and 80 during the day and with windows and ceiling fans the house never needed anything but fresh air to stay comfortable. I think one suggestion I would make is an outdoor eating space, table or something. I saw a patch of grass that looked like there might have been a picnic table at one point so maybe its being replaced. 2 options for waterview fires...down by the water or up by the house..but with the wind and lack of being able to have access to the lake water, we wanted to make sure we were able to do a proper job with the embers. You could haul some buckets of water down there on a less windy night. We enjoyed the lake views just fine from the fire in the backyard and the short trip inside for drinks, snacks and bathroom. we will definitely be back!"
