"Lovely spacious room and friendly welcome. Some bits are a bit tired, like doors, walls but to be honest it’s not a big deal and worth the money I paid for it. Lovely bathroom and decent amenities! "

"Property is adjacent to the beach area, we had a great view of the esplanade from our room. The check-in was great, probably the friendliest one on our 20 day trip around Europe. Room was run of the mill, bathroom could do with some modernisation together with some luxurious towels instead of the heavily used ones provided."

"After checking in we found the air conditioning was not working, tried to call the front desk and phone was not working, nor was the TV. Had to walk back down to reception where we were told we were pre warned about the air conditioning ( we were not!!) and there was a fan in the room- there wasn’t. The lady argued saying there was and said in regards to the phone not working- most hotels don’t have phones anymore anyway. When she came to our room, she finally agreed we indeed did not have a fan. One was delivered- but it literally just moved the hot air around. The fan stopped working in the middle of the night and our toilet was on constant flush. Location wise, this hotel is great. But this hotel needs serious maintenance and updating and until this is done, I’d personally avoid."

"Lovely hotel with a great view. We had a corner suite and the welcome gin was appreciated, shame only the tonic was replaced on day 2. Room service was delicious. Be warned it is £10 per person per day to use the spa if you haven't booked direct - this is hidden away on the hotel description (unlike other charges which were easy to see up front!)"

"Standard of hotel staff has fallen over the past year or so. Ignored while waiting to check in , staff burst into the room at around 9.35AM On a sunday after one knock. No time to even reach the door. Then didnt leave the room until i turned to look after about 40 seconds. No apology . After the staff left the room there was then continuous banging along the corridor and slamming of doors. Staff talking Loud I dont know whether the staff are students or what. But they havent been trained how to treat all guests with respect. I used to enjoy staying here but now after a few years ive noticed the standards have declined and unfortunately will most likely be the last stay here ."
