"We had 11 hotels in New England in our itinerary and this was my favourite. The attention to detail was unmatched the little key fobs on the room keys the quill for signing the visitors book the whole place had so many quirky details. Beautiful room and gorgeous bathroom with stone wall I shower. Sadly we missed the restaurant which only opens Friday and Saturday but there are lots of eateries at the bottom of the hill."

"No chocolate for s'mores..otherwise just fine. Only suggestion would be a night light in the bathroom or a dimmer switch."

"Rooms were very clean, great coffee in the room. The resort(the actual area in general )is in “mud month”. Very few restaurants and stores were open. Not the fault of the resort. Refrigerator needed to be requested. The views were spectacular and the lobby was beautiful "

"We have been coming here for almost twenty years. The property could use a little tlc, but it also has a lot of charm. Pablo at the front desk was the best attendant we have ever had. He really made the experience better. Our AC was not working but within minutes an engineer came up and was able to fix it no problem. Room was very clean with lots of towels. Only downside was that the hot tub was broken for most of our stay. We LOVE the hot tub so that was a major bummer for us. But we will be back. I thought it was a great value."

"We had a wonderful stay with our two young children and dog. The rooms are well-equipped and comfortable and we enjoyed the games and restaurant on site. Perfect place to spend a weekend in Vermont."
