"Nightmare service and hospitality. Upon check-in immediately proceeded to check-out. Poor service, poor quality room poor amenities. No answers to any inquiries and no follow-up by management.

"Night reception didn't know where rooms were so took us the longest, most complicated way to the rooms. Once there rooms were on different floors.

We booked a "Sea View" room, paying extra to ensure we could look directly out onto the ocean, as advertised. However, upon arrival, our room faced a building, and we could only see the sea by looking to the side, which was far from the expectations set by the photos associated with our room category. "Stayed as a family of 4 for 9 days in mid August 2025, 2 adults and 2 children.
Positives:
Remote hill top location in Old Town Malia (10/10).
Villas with private 10m to 15m length pools (10/10).
Overall the teams were very helpful and did their best to support.
Amazing views of Malia from your balcony from the hill top location (10/10).

New lady in the restaurant from Romania, Male supervisor / manager who helped us after we got locked out of the villa with 2 keys at night.
Private pool chemical level being checked.
Met the new owner at dinner whilst the teams were stressfully trying to work out our bill for a new menu and he said he his aware of what they need to improve on and service is not were he wants it to be.
Negatives:
Attention to detail I.e. 1 bed was missing its top cover for the first 3 nights.
Very easy to lock yourself out of the villa because of the safety feature on the doors.
Service in the restaurant needs to be improved / missed opportunity from the hotel due to isolated location.
Catering options are very limited / Menu cards are confusing / Not clear what you have ordered and what you are paying for.
Nightly disturbances from staffing quarters into the early morning (stayed in villa 407).
No locks on the bathroom or toilet doors.
Hot water in the tap & shower is extremely boiling hot.
Toilet / Shower room on the lower floor in the 2 bedroom villas should have a solid divider as water gets everywhere."
"Small apartment, but located in a beautiful and convenient location right off the freeway. Gorgeous views from the rooftop. Because the apartment is located above the owner’s house, it comes with many rules. We chose to stay here since listing specifically stated that we will have access to laundry. We planned and packed our clothes thinking that we will be able to do our laundry while staying here for three nights. The owner reluctantly agreed to let us do one small 30 min wash load on the first night, but the owner her self had to do it for us and didn’t want us to touch the laundry machine which was located in the second floor patio where her friends were staying. The second night we asked if we could do another load of laundry and the owner replied that her friends will be coming back from the beach and they will be using the laundry machine and that the owner will be doing her own laundry the next morning. She told us to google for a laundry facility instead. We asked if we could get new beach towels "
"Nice facility and very friendly reception and bar staff however, dim/no lighting especially in bathroom had to use our phone torches, rock solid beds, limited utensils with no soap or sponge to wash up so lack of cleanliness aswell as only changing sheets and towels once during a 7 nights stay.
Overall you get what you pay for."
