This motel appears to be very old, so don't expect to be impressed by the furnishings. The room was cleaned so-so, but the staff was very nice and accommodating. And you can't beat the price! Plus it's right next to the freeway and close to Bishop Airport. For these reasons, I'd stay there again. I'd bring my own towels, shower flip-flops and slippers though.

Adequate....but could do better
We were the only guests at the motel all weekend. The room was very small and plain but clean. We had to ask for the coffeemaker and extra towels because there was only one set for 2 people. We wish we would have gone to the Red Roof Inn across the street.
The hotel was a little run down. Rooms had a bit of a poor odor. Beds were not very comfortable. Appeared the hotel was in the midst of a renovation. May be improved. Staff, though, was very pleasant, professional and helpful. They seem to be working at improving the overall condition of the hotel.
The room was filthy and dirty. The towels and hand cloths were soiled, stained and dirty, so imagine what the carpet, bedspread and bed linens were. The motel lobby was dirty and the check in was located behind a thick plastic wall for security. Do not use this motel for any reason.
The grout in bathroom filled with mold and mildew. The room smelled of cigarettes. Hard water burned my eyes in shower. The only positive was that the bed was comfy enough to fall asleep.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Not that bad.
The room was clean but it was clearly very old and in need of repairs. But it wasn't uninhabitable. Everything was clean but there were grout stains in the bathroom and the sink had a very slow drain. The bed was comfortable and it took a good day or so to get the heating unit set to a happy medium so we weren't waking up ever hour or so either freezing or soaked with sweat. It was also very quiet and very close to everything we needed. We recently moved from the Flint area to Colorado and this hotel was a good price and a good location for our Holiday visit with our families.
Went down to the Michigan Renaissance Festival with another couple. Figured we stay the night so we could have som extra fun. Hotel description says bar/lounge- there was none!!! We only had wash clothes and hand towels, no bath towels- not that I would have taken a shower in this place. No clock!!! What kind of hotel/motel doesn't provide a clock in the room. Cheap? Yes. Would we stay again?- NO WAY!!
the location of the sign was so far back and at cross angle to the main street, there were depressions in the roadway that were full of water. standing water in parking area was not pleasant. the light over vanity made it difficult to see how to shave. the smell of cleaning agents permeated the room, the bed sheets. the threadbare towels were not pleasant. the water in shower came out rusty
Carpet: was not a good feeling to walk on. dirt in corner outside of bathtub. A 3 inch hole in the bathroom room maintenience door. Took awhile to get curtain to cover the window, it was to small for the window. A musky smell in the room. Would not stay or would not recommend a stay here. Paid for two nights, stayed one night...forfieted the money for the second night.
We rented two rooms, the heat didn't work in one of them and it was quite cold outside. The room with heat had cigarette butts all around one of the beds, hidden by the bed skirt. There weren't enough towels in either room. There were no bath mats to prevent slipping in the tub. And the biggest shocker was about the room with no heat ... THERE WAS A USED CONDOM ON THE FLOOR NEXT TO MY BED!!!!!! My daughters saw this, too. Utterly disgusting! I would not recommend this motel to anyone.
Never before have I stayed in such a dirty and disgusting hotel... and I use the word "hotel" lightly. The lobby is behind a plexiglass wall which should tell you everything you need to know. Unsafe and perhaps dangerous. The rooms open to a dark outside hallway and the insides of the rooms are dirty. Every single towel was soiled and stained yet put back on the racks. Imagine what the sheets, bedspreads and carpeting were like! I walked in the room and immediately walked out and took a different room in a different hotel. You should not have this hotel/motel on your website. It is ZERO Stars!
I will not recommend this hotel for anyone! When we arrived, we were greeted with "Welcome to Knight's Inn . . . You owe me $30." The franchise charges additional money for more than two guests. I had thought that when I registered, I had done so with the specific amount of people in my party. However, even if this had not been the case, there are FAR more tactful ways to explain to a guest that additional payment is necessary. Next, when we entered the room, two things were very apparent. First, that maintenance had not been inside of the room in months. Second, that this had, for a long time, been a smoking room despite the sign which said "No-smoking". The floors had large amounts of dirt hidden behind corners and around the bed. Likewise, the bathroom condition was on par with that of many truck stops after lunch rush. However, we decided to go on to our destination and do our best to ignore the conditions. When, we returned to our room after our event, we turned down the beds to get ready for sleep. That's when we discovered a huge stain on the bed sheets of our bed. While we did get in at 2 AM, we expected someone to be available to assist us with getting new sheets. We were sadly mistaken. We tried for nearly twenty minutes to reach the front desk. We kept receiving an automated recording which re directed us to itself. We ended up throwing a towel over the stain to avoid sleeping in it. Needless to say, we will NOT be staying here again.
The rooms were clean and neat but they are remodeling and was a little loud but only during the after. Me and my husband enjoyed the geta. There are small refrigerators and microwaves in the room that worked amazingly.

decent for the price
if you're trying to watch your dollar this is a decent place to stay. The bed was very comfortable, the temperature in the room was great, and I was able to park right outside of the front door my room. Only problem I had was that the water did not smell really good
this is an older motel and not in good repair. water in the shower smelled funny and toilets were stained brown. only stay here if NOTHING ELSE IS AVAILABLE.
Room was not perfectly clean. I had to move the furniture to plug in the lamps and alarm clock and there are gobs of dust bunnies behind everything. Also, the refrigerator in Room 136 FROZE our fruit and milk. I tried turning the temp down, but it had no effect. The unit should be repaired or replaced. There are some mildew spots in the shower that should be fairly easy to clean. The fan in the bathroom did not work at all.
Air condition wasn't working. Room smelled of tobacco although rated non smoking. Overall you get the feel of a cheap hotel but the A/C should still have worked
We liked the fact that our car was three feet from our door. It was a very convenient location for the shopping district. We have stayed with you in the past, and will continue to do so. we liked the fact that you were offering a breakfast, even though it was pretty skimpy.
This motel should be closed. The rooms were dirty and the bathrooms moldy. The sheets were dirty when we arrived and we had to ask for them to be changed. On day two of our stay, the beds were not made for us; no new cups for drinking were provided, nor any coffee for the "coffee makers". When we asked for extra towels, the person at the desk was not very happy to have to provide them. We waited for 30 minutes for the dirty sheets to be changed and extra towels to be provided. My recommendation: DO NOT STAY HERE. THIS MOTEL SHOULD BE CLOSED.

our room
The staff was very nice and the location very safe feeling and the other people staying there were all polite. You can tell its for dog owner people. Most had pets. Our room did not have any pet odor whats so ever. It was the mattress... we laughed our heads off... creaking and crunchy... I slept well but they could do better mattresses.

very good
the rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, the location is very convinience and easy on and off from the highway
Although the room itself was tolerable, every aspect of this hotel is creepy. Arriving in the early afternoon (in the daylight), I still missed the entrance to this hotel twice - it is marked only with a small sign and appears to be a driveway to an abandoned site instead of an entrance to a hotel. I checked in at the creepy office with a thick plexiglass window separating me from the creepy clerk. No cars in the parking lot, and it looked abandoned. I decided to leave my luggage in the car for the day instead of leaving it unattended in the room. In the evening, I returned to the hotel, and the parking lot was populated with several creepy 18-wheeler trucks. Room was clean but creepy rusty water came out of the shower, indicating they don't have too much business. Caulking around the tube was pulled out and missing in many places. Bed felt like there was plywood under the mattress but I was afraid to look under it to confirm. If you like creepy, this is the hotel for you! Otherwise, spend an additional ten bucks to stay at another establishment.
