Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Rybalka could be a piece of cake or it could drag on forever. We've pulled together some handy travel tips that will help you start your next big adventure on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a comfortable experience if you bring the right gear. Firstly, you'll want some toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a fresh change of clothes and a good book. Secondly, make room in your bag for your mobile phone, a charger, your important medications and perhaps a cosy neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to take your passport, travel docs and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Check carefully that you don't have sharp objects (like a knife or scissors) lurking in one of the compartments of your hand luggage. Other prohibited items include flammable or explosive products, such as aerosol cans and bleach, and gels and liquids in containers larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your main priority when choosing what to wear during your flight. Loose clothing is a sensible choice, as are enclosed shoes like sneakers.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-distance flights. It results from blood clotting due to inactivity and poor circulation, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks or tights.
