Depending on where you're coming from, your flight to Arenitas Blancas could be completely painless or it could drag on forever. We've put together some tips that will help you start your next unforgettable escape on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Travelling on a plane can be a comfortable experience if you carry the right things. Firstly, you'll want a few toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a fresh change of clothes and a good read. Secondly, leave space in your carry-on bag for your phone, tablet and chargers, any vital medications and perhaps a cosy neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to take your passport, travel papers and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated. Sharp or pointed objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and strong acids, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your highest priority when deciding what to wear on board. Loose, breathable clothing is a sensible choice, as are roomy, closed-toe shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by extended periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to wander around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
