"Great little place with clear instructions. The hanging lights weren't working when we arrived which made it a bit tricky to arrive in the dark. We enjoyed the Sauna and appreciated the comfy bed and maps provided for hiking areas."

True Montana Log Cabin on 4 acres

"This cabin was fabulous! I was a little worried staying in a cabin on 4 acres, maybe too secluded, but we loved it. There are other cabins from the driveway. There is a full kitchen, which we cooked many nights as there aren't many good restaurants near the park . We sat out on the deck and watched the birds and enjoyed the view. Anywhere is a little bit of a trip, no matter where you are staying. From this cabin you do have a drive to some of the park entrances, but what beautiful scenery along the way. The beds were comfortable, there was bear spray, plenty of seating, and a cozy vibe. There is internet, no cell service. After the busy days at the park it was nice to come back to and relax. We even saw a Moose walk in the backyard!!! Don't forget to stop at the many points along Hwy 2 near the cabin, beautiful river access points. Host was very responsive, would HIGHLY recommend staying here!"

"The view was beautiful! The kids had an awesome time kayaking and it was comforting that the water is so shallow near the dock. Perfect for kids! The cabin is awesome and the location is perfect! Our host was responsive to any questions. We truly had a great time! Nothing much negative to report except the cabin is advertised as sleeping 8 adults. In reality only 7 adults can comfortably sleep. The double futon is actually a pull out bed and only fits one adult. Also the bar-b-que was barely working which was disappointing as we planned many meals using it. Neither of these items made our trip less enjoyable! Would definitely go again!"
