It was located in a great spot to explore Glacier National Park and surrounding areas. We loved coming home to our log cabin in the woods and were very comfortable in this charming spot. Excellent hosts!
Family and I had a great week staying at the cabin and enjoying both sides of glacier. We knocked out all the hikes we planned the first few days so we’re able to hang out and enjoy the cabin and some local trails on our last day. Cabin was exactly what my wife and I were looking for when we planned our trip and we would stay here again on future trips.
Great little cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots ,pans, baking dishes. Beautiful location! Wayne was a great host made us feel welcome and enjoyed talking with him.The welcome basket was a nice touch with wine and meat and cheese tray.
Would definitely stay again!
We absolutely 💯 loved Wayne’s cabin. It was such a perfect quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the national park hotels. Great wildlife and nature too! Wayne was super nice and checked in with us too ask if he could pick up anything for us. Thank you Wayne we appreciate you!
Our stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the charm, coziness, and peaceful surroundings. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every little detail thought out to make our stay comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we slept so well after a full day of hiking. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the host even left us a yummy treat, wishing us a happy anniversary! The hosts went above and beyond with thoughtful touches and excellent communication, which made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. This cabin truly felt like a home away from home, and we left feeling refreshed and reconnected with nature. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect blend of comfort, nature, and relaxation!
My family and i had a great time. The area around the property was incredibly scenic and quiet! The mountains surrounding us filled us with a sense of awe. The property wasnt too long of a drive away from Glacier (which is GORGEOUS) and also not far from a couole nice restaraunts.
Theres also a handful of wildlife viewing areas, trails, and other activities not far away from the cabin.
All in all, its a really nice place to relax and unwind between trips to Glacier!
This property did not disappoint and was exactly what we were looking for. It is a place to disconnect and connect with nature. We loved taking walks in the afternoon, even in the snow. You do have quite a drive to get to any major stores, but we did not mind. Highly recommend.
The cabin is in a great location for folks wanting to explore Glacier National Park because it is located between East and West Glacier. It also has a couple good restaurants a short drive away. It is in a small community near Essex with the other cabins far enough away to make it fell isolated and private. The owners are good people who are readily accessible and responsive and go above and beyond. Look for Wayne's book there because it's a short, interesting read. The cabin is very clean. The bedrooms are up a flight of stairs, so it may not be a location for folks with mobility issues. I recommend this place for others looking for 2 beds and one bathroom.
The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed from cooking utensils, pots and pans, cooler to bear spray. We enjoyed being able to use the cabin as our base to travel to West or East Glacier. After a day of hiking, it was nice to have a peaceful retreat to return to in the evenings . Our host, Wayne, was extremely helpful. Thank you!
The property is perfectly located for getting in and out of Glacier National Park. Beyond that, Wayne and MJ were good to point out many other great sites nearby. The cabin is well appointed with quality items in the kitchen. They even had a thoughtful cheese, cracker and local beer snack waiting for our arrival.
*Highlight for us was the creek right on the property where we relaxed every day after our GNP Adventures. Thanks for hosting us at such a delightful propery!
The cabin is in the middle of the east and west Glacier NP entrances. We loved the solitude we found. The kitchen was well stocked wtih very nice pans and knifes or all our cooking needs. We like that there was no TV's downstairs and we could check out form the world for a bit. We like the dual control sleep number bed upstairs, I found my number the first night and my girlfriend like playing with her side to find that goldilocks setting. Would recommend to anyone and if I come back to cycle the road to the sun again I will stay here.
Bear Creek Cabin was an ideal place for our group of 3 to stay during our week long trip to Gkacier. The location provided great access to both East and West Glacier. The cabin was clean and cozy , providing everything we needed. We cooked many of our meals there after a long day of hiking. Wayne stopped by to meet us and offered suggestions for our sightseeing. He was available with a phone call but we had no need to call. The wifi worked fine which was great since you have very little service anywhere else. The cabin is in a beautiful setting and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Glacier National Park.
My wife and I and our adult son enjoyed our Glacier National Park vacation based out of this beautiful property. It was clean, well provisioned, comfortable, and perfectly located to access both the east and west sides of the park. The beds were great, and we loved the cabin’s rustic feel that only enhanced our experience. Wayne checked in on us and offered great advice for our hiking plans. We fixed all our own meals during our stay (except one), and really liked the kitchen with the big windows to look out into the yard. We found this cabin to be a great place to unwind after a long day of exploring. Our one dinner out was at the Summit Mountain Lodge near Marias Pass, which we highly recommend. Hope we make it back another time - we would definitely pick this place again!
We had a wonderful week in Montana with all its natural beauty and it was just as much pleasure to come back to our cabin and relax at the end of each day. Our cabin was clean and well equipped with all its modern features. Spacious inside with a full modern kitchen and bath. Comfortable queen size beds and open spacious downstairs sitting area. Outside deck with large grill gave us a perfect place to make some dinners at the end of the day and eat under the Mountain View. Wayne was friendly and gave us great suggestions to see some of Montanas natural beauty. Thank you again!
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Everything was as described in the listing. Its location is great being between the two main entrances to Glacier Park. There is a good amount of privacy and quiet , and the property is on a lovely creek that is fun to sit by and relax or read. Sometimes wildlife appears on the property. We saw many deer, many prairie dog type creatures, a fox, and a mom and baby weasel at the creek. The feel of the cabin is very comfy and relaxing. The host is available and super friendly and accommodating. The place was clean with many extras available for cooking and exploring (bear spray binoculars backpack etc). The hosts left a welcome gift which was very thoughtful and they have a lot of reading material on Glacier Park and the general area to help with your stay. I highly recommend this cabin and would definitely return.
We really enjoyed our stay at Bear Creek Cabin. Communication with the host was prompt, accurate and thorough from booking through completion of our stay. We appreciated the welcome basket and Wayne stopping by to greet us and sharing useful information. The bear spray was helpful and we used a lot of the literature at the cabin for planning our days at GNP. The location was great because it's between the park entrances so on days we didn't have a permit to get in the West Glacier entrance we were able to get in the St. Mary's entrance without a permit. It was also closer to the Two Medicine Entrance (unpermitted) and Many Glacier (permitted). We even went to Waterton, Canada one day. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. On our final day we enjoyed relaxing on the deck, in the hammock and the tree swing chair. The cabin perfectly suited our needs. A real home away from home!
Wonderful cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Wayne was a great host and stoped in to offer advice and answer any questions we had. Great place to come back to after a long day of hiking. If you want a cozy cabin that is conveniently located to get into the park, then this is it!
A super cabin in a lovely peaceful location. The cabin has all you need for a comfortable stay, with a great BBQ grill on the deck overlooking the woods. It is in a great location for accessing the west and east side, with the east side location handy for entering the "going the sun" road. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Fully recommended!
The cabin was beautifly set up at a distance from other cabins which gave us our privacy. We had all the bedding and kitchen appliances we could ask for including waffle iron, mixer, and kettles. I can honestly say we had everything we needed including Bear Spray, fire wood, and hammocks.
