Fabulous holiday park, like a home from home. Great location for local beaches, one of which is only a 10/15 minute walk.
Seakisses was well equipped, and had everything you need for a few nights for a family of 4. Our only bugbear was that we had to clean any crockery and cutlery before using, as it was dirty. Other than than that the house was clean enough, and also had the bonus of Sky TV (although it definitely needs a new remote control!), and Netflix.
The pub opposite has a nice atmosphere and isn’t too loud. The food is average (a bit beige), but fantastic to have on the doorstep for a nice cold drink at the end of a long day exploring, as well as a little shop onsite and little games arcade. There’s also a decent swimming pool, but book in advance!
Filey Brigg is a great place for rock pools and fossil hunting, Whitby and York are both an hour’s drive away too, which are both wonderful places to visit (park & ride bus number 2 in York makes life easy!).
We enjoyed Filey zoo, where the animals look genuinely well cared for.
We also visited Malton. Can recommend the Purple Carrot deli for veggie/vegan food, however we were a little disappointed with the town. Hopefully there’s more going on there when there’s a market, but it was extremely quiet on a Tuesday!
All in all we had a nice 4 days at Seakisses- it’s a lovely base for exploring the local area or further afield. We will return!
