Traditional farmhouse 14th century in the natural park of Montseny

Independent duplex within a traditional Catalan farmhouse located within the Natural Park of Montseny declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO forming part of a project which is committed to responsible and sustainable tourism. Restored with materials of the time and recovered maintaining their original forms and textures as far as possible, self-sufficient in terms of energies where photovoltaic, wind, solar-thermal and biomass of the forest management itself coexist, with water catchment management (rain and water table) and waste treatment. To cover the needs of the elaboration of the meals in pension regime with ecological products where we mainly supply the vegetables and vegetables that we have from our garden and the chicken coop as well as the honey from our fields, which we incorporate from others They come from producers and artisans around the Figaró. The guest is welcome in the observation and can participate if he wishes of the tasks of field and forest of the day to day of the Masia. Exceptional place and located at 650 m is the starting point for countless routes on foot MTB and on horseback through the park.

This was our best stay in Europe. We visited 2 other countries and the uniqueness and quiet serenity was a welcome break. It was very well setup for the historical value of this place. I was glad I got and SUV to ride up the road. It was also a fun part of this adventure. We then took off for a balloon ride just north of here and the views were absolutely stunning. Highly recommend staying here. The host was very helpful and extremely accommodating.

The house and property are even more beautiful than we imagined with incredible views. Frederic is an excellent host and exceptional cook! My partner and I stayed for a week and we will keep such special memories here together. It is a private and peaceful place. Magical, would love to come back one day and recommend 100% though you will probably need to rent a car. :))

Million dollar views & incredible hospitality!

Incredible experience from the very beginning. Stayed at Frederick's and Magda's house for two nights with my 20 year old son. The drive up the mountain dirt road from Figaro gave us a thrill and a challenge for our rented Opel Corsa, but it was so worth it! If you're using GPS make sure you navigate to the farm from El Garriga - a little bit longer but a much better road and a lot kinder on your vehicle. Frederick and Magda were absolutely fabulous hosts and treated us like part of the family. Great experience! Would highly recommend!

La casa muy bonita, con historia en sus paredes y manteniendo su origen. La atención prestada excelente. Su propietario: atento, agradable y siempre pendiente. Lugar ideal de relax y desconexión. El peor inconveniente que tuvimos fue que no pudimos llegar con nuestro coche, por el tipo de carretera. Difícil acceso. Queda minimizado porque el propietario se brinda sin pensarlo en recogerte. Subir y bajar las veces que haga falta...

Unforgettable stay

After about 10 minutes on a moutain road, we arrived in this magnificent farm with incredible views on the moutains and valley. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday in the middle of nature, this is the place to go. Frederic is a superwelcoming host and was always responsive to our questions. The house is beautiful and everything needed is provided . Breakfast is excellent and Frederic made us try several local specialties. We would love to go back !
