"Arrived too late to use any amenities. I didn’t like the air conditioner right next to the bed with cold air blowing on me. I did like the layout of the room which afforded a little more privacy."

"We have rented this house multiple times and it is always great. At the top of our list for places we have rented. Has all the supplies you need. So peaceful sitting out by the fire pit and watching the deer come up or relaxing in the hot tub as the deer walk by. So many birds around the bird feeders. This place is a must for a relaxing getaway and perfect after a day of wine tours. Thank you for taking such pride in your house and sharing it."

"We have stayed at settlers Crossing twice before and enjoyed the property proper immensely if you love old homes 1800 mid early to 1800s you’ll love all of the homes that you may rent. The furnishings are a period appropriate and it’s a little rustic but if you love that look, it can be very relaxing. The homes are secluded in a 35 acre plot of land lots of trees, sheep walk freely in the area. I even saw a donkey and a number of Whitetail deer very enjoyable just minutes outside of Fredericksburg. Lots to do many wineries to visit. Can’t recommend it more highly particularly if you are a lover of old homes mid eighteen century furniture. We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace."
