"This house was very comfortable, plenty of room and personal space for 6 adults and one toddler. The lower level is a great community space offering plenty of games and entertainment. The views are amazing and everything worked well. First time on this lake, brought a boat which had a little difficulty towing down the gravel driveway but it worked for us. The lake water level is lower in the fall. "

"While we didn’t use all the amenities, there were plenty. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the towels were plentiful, large and moisture wicking and the furnishings were comfortable. The host emailed after arrival to check that everything was fine. The house has a beautiful view and is a truly wonderful place to stay. We will book with them again."

"Overall, this is a charming lakefront home that leans into the fishing cabin vibe with décor and kayaks. The cigar lounge was a great spot that guests would enjoy. I would have liked to give this home a higher rating, but it lacked the attention to detail needed to make it a highly rated vacation rental. Here are a few reasons why I couldn't give this vacation rental a higher rating: - Cleanliness of ground level - Smell of cooked fish, crumbs under the dining table, apparent spilled drink on side table and floor. I purchased cleaning supplies and took care of these issues. Overall the home was clean, but not what I would expect at a vacation rental. The property management company texted me on the first day to ask about the cleanliness and I made them aware of these issues. -No kitchen essentials like salt and pepper, coffee and tea, sweeteners, etc. There were plenty of dishes, cups and utensils. - Beds were firm (which I understand is a preference), but difficult for me to sleep on. The linens weren't soft. - The lake was dry with docks sitting on land. There's an advisory for no boating, fishing and swimming. This would be a disappointment for guests who booked this home to enjoy the lake. This was not disclosed at the time of booking. I booked this vacation rental for 9 days and left after 6 mostly due to my lack of sleep. I own a vacation rental and believe attention to detail and guest experience are key. A little TLC would elevate this home. "
