"Room was clean. Check in was quick. We were extremely underwhelmed with the free "breakfast". Cereal, coffee and juice was all they had. No fruit. No toast. No eggs. No waffles. No biscuits. No muffins. Why bother?"

"Made reservation for a king room via Hotels.com about 4 hours before arrival. When we arrived there very late were no available king rooms. But the clerk noted there was a king room which needed a final cleaning, if we could wait. That very clerk shut down the desk and left to personally clean the room, took the cleaning cart, cleaned the room with new linens, cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed, everything even reset the air to cool down as we made our way to the room. Offered us complimentary sodas and snacks while we waited. The room was spotless. Now this is a HI Express, not the Ritz. But everything about our stay was exceptional. Great room with lots of space and a very comfortable bed. Absolutely wonderful and powerful shower. A good free breakfast with plenty of hot coffee. And best of all was the great service of a caring staff member. We would not hesitate staying here again when traveling thru this part of Tennessee. A+"

"This property was recently renovated and the rooms are in excellent condition. Also it's worth mentioning that their free breakfast is very good. The property is pet friendly with plenty of space for walks. I'd definitely stay there again."

"We come to Dandridge throughout the year to visit family and I think we have stayed at all the hotels in the cluster around this one. I will say, this one was the most updated, with the most comfortable rooms. Great darkening shades (that you need) and the only issue was still being able to hear the highway at night so earplugs are recommended if you are a light sleeper. Very helpful and friendly staff."

The location is a huge plus—just a couple of miles off I-40 with easy access, but once you arrive, it feels completely secluded and peaceful.The historic 200 year-old grist mill is as fascinating as advertised and gives the property a really unique character. But the highlight for us was the creek. The cascading water, small waterfall, and overall setting made it the perfect place to relax. We spent a lot of time just enjoying the outdoors and even saw deer in the evenings, which made it feel like a true escape.The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a laid-back stay.Another big win is the location—you’re close to Dandridge, Douglas Lake, and the Smokies, but far enough away to avoid the crowds and chaos of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.Overall, this place truly feels like a little slice of heaven. Peaceful, scenic, and unique—we’d absolutely stay again. "

"Marcie is an amazing host. Communication was awsome from prebooking to close out. The house is exactly as posted, Very roomy, clean and comfy. We had two full size trucks with 21' bass boats and an addional truck, all fit in the driveway. We had no issues with the 110 v plug outside, it was hooked to two battery chargers and did great. Kitchen is well stock with all needed utensils, pots and pans. Location makes it very easy to get to either Lake. A very nice snack package was waiting for us on the table as well. Check out was also very easy. "
