"Lite cleaning of the room each day was helpful. It was nice getting the room stocked with oatmeal and granola bars each day. Small kitchen allowed us to cook meals and save money. We could walk to Lake Louise each day (huge savings not having to worry about a bus and timing things out)."

"Our stay at Emerald Lake was great. The beauty of the place makes up for some of the aging that we noticed on the property. The beds were very comfortable and linens were spotless. Having a fireplace in the room was lovely on a cool night. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the Burgess dining room. Everything was absolutely delicious. The staff could not have been more accommodating our friendly. It is a bit of a nuisance to have to take a shuttle from the parking lot to the lodge, then have your bags moved again from the lodge to our room, but again, the staff were wonderfully accommodating and made it a seamless as possible. We never had to wait for anything very long at all. We really enjoyed walking the loop around the lake. Some of the trail is not in great shape, but it was marked as such, and we managed quite nicely, enjoying all the beauty that surrounded us. I would certainly return to the lake and I would highly recommend it to anyone else."
