"Photos don't do it justice - so much space! Stayed for four nights with my Dad and brother, we are all 6 foot + and I was a bit concerned it would be pokey. Not at all, the opposite. Terrace was lovely, great to watch the birds, rabbits and hedgehogs. Imagine that in summer it would be a proper little suntrap! "Great location near the start of the trail for three cliffs bay. Cottage was clean and close to shop and cafe. Only thing to be weary of, is that there are multiple rose cottages in the area, so you have to make sure to pick the right one on the map (someone in our group picked the wrong one, haha) It's the one next to the sheperds shop and cafe. Overall, a great stay, I recommend for a group."

"Stayed for 2 nights, room.was decorated beautifully & had everything you needed, although it would have been nice to possibly have a fridge in the room, but that wasn't much of an issue for us, the staff are fantastic, very welcoming & helpful nothing was too much trouble, food gorgeous drinks great especially the cocktail bar in the beer garden at the back of the property, the location is excellent has everything you need & more right in the door step with a lovely walk not too far to the beach, we only checked out this morning & already looking to book again."

"Booked room only in a "Very good" room, which i would probably describe as good. The pictures online make it look a lot bigger. We travelled in the heatwave, and the small window in the rooms only opened a few inches. There was a small fan provided, but for me, it just moved the hot air. Due to the heat, I didn't get much sleep. Also at 6am on Monday morning, the bin men came, crashing, banging and emptying the bottle bin at 1000 decibels. Prior to arrival, I rang to request a parking space as a blue badge holder. The lady I spoke to said they had a space, but it was about 40 steep steps down to the hotel. She explained there was a pay and display car park up the road, on the flat. On arrival, we went to the hotel car park, and wow, she wasn't wrong. I took a while to get down the steps, but knew there was no way I would be getting up them. On check in, the lady I spoke to took us to see an accessible room, but it was quite small and dark, so stuck with our original room, up two flights of stairs, no lift due to the age of the property. On departure, I found it easier to exit the hotel, and walk the route to the car park along the main street. Uphill, but no steps. All in all, if you have any mobility issues this isn't the place for you, however the lady on check in went over and above to find the most suitable room, and even offered to carry our bags. We did not eat at the hotel. I'd give it a 7 out of 10."

"We stayed in Guinivere's Cottage, which was spacious, clean and well equipped. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the bathroom was fine, although a shelf for toilet bags would have made life easier. Tall people should be aware that, because of the age of the cottage, it's difficult to avoid the overhead beams in the bedroom and bathroom! The internet connection for the tv needed to be reprogrammed twice, which was a little irritating. Breakfasts were good and staff friendly and attentive. Reynoldston is a lovely village in the centre of the Gower and both extremes of this beautiful peninsula were within easy reach."

The garden room was really lovely, comfortable bed, lovely shower, and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, which a lot of time lack in hotels. Breakfast was awesome....could not fault it at all....love the touch of bucks fizz too. Would definitely recommend the Broadmead Boutique."
