"The receptionist was nice and the area by the river was nice, but the hotel itself was awful and very dated. The small kitchen had a fridge but it must have been 30-40 years old, no facilities to make a cup of tea (or cups etc.). The staff was cleaning and talking loudly in the hallway/room opposite ours at 11 pm (evening). The balcony could do with a proper cleaning (see picture) - we did not sit there despite the nice view because the plastic furniture and the balcony itself was depressing to...

"Stayed here for a few nights. The room was clean and the the staff were friendly and efficient. They kindly made Vegetarian meals especially as there was not much choice on the menu for Vegetarians. The non vegetarian menu changed daily and the quality of the food was good. "

Inconvenient for parking at hotel, although a public carpark is within 5 minutes walking at basement of nearby commercial center. Hotel is centrally located, a block from the heart of downtown, and not far from the main sights of Vichy, including the "sources", the Opera House, and main shopping streets. "

"Unfortunately this is the worst Kyriad we have stayed in. It is very tired and needs a lot of work doing to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Air con wouldn’t work, and it was very warm in the room but unfortunately noisy with the window open, which we had to endure, no kettle, not enough towels. "Really helpful staff and great facilities. We loved the superb natural swimming pool. The evening meal and breakfast were very good. We felt really cared for and loved the friendly atmosphere of the place. Good value with excellent facilities. Highly recommended. "
