"Superb 15th century chateau in 'France Profonde'. The hosts most helpful and welcoming. Beautiful grounds and a large swimming pool. Breakfast served in an elegant dining room, there is a salon for your use too. Would advise booking a restaurant in advance in one of the nearby villages."

"Such a tranquil and beautiful place. We had the best night’s sleep for ages because the cave was cool and the air was kept humid to protect the stone. Céline and Stève were lovely - so welcoming. Stève gave us the fascinating history of the place and in the morning Céline had prepared the most delicious home-made breakfast which we ate in the peaceful pretty garden courtyard in front of our cave. Les Troglos is a gem and our stresses melted away."

"What a superb little place, not so little as the dog and I had the house to ourselves. If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. "Rather grand hotel, right in the centre of Loches, which is a beautiful town. Free parking directly outside the hotel. Numerous bars, restaurants and shops within 5 minutes' walk. Excellent stop-over but leave time to explore Loches itself."

"We were very pleased with our suite. It was clean, the air conditioning worked well. Plenty of room for our dog plus a balcony. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our dinner in the restaurant was superb and breakfast excellent. We would certainly stay again."
