"The location is great - walking distance to surf and restaurants, the space in the room we stayed in was good and had a private balcony and the common areas were generally clean. A couple of strange things - for somewhere that is a "shared house"/hostel type the people who work/"hosts" were very unfriendly, there were 2 females who wouldn't even acknowledge us during our stay (walking into the kitchen and wouldn't even make eye contact or make conversation - mind you I commented on their food...

"Friendly people the hotel does not have a bar or snack counter that I saw although there is a bar, restaurant, market right across the street. The towels are very course and pillow’s terrible. Breakfast was basic but good Overall it was worth the price we paid"

"Everyone was very friendly and we loved the medieval village inside the castle walls. It is very charming and we enjoyed walking around at night. However while the room itself was very clean, we noticed in the morning (we may stayed one night) that our bed sheets were heavily stained along the corners. We took pictures and understand they’ve been passed on to management. "
