Blue Ridge Mountains Luxury 1-bedroom Mountain Cabin -- Viewpoint Cabin is perched among the tall Virginia pine trees and surrounded by soft bed of mountain laurels. As you open the front door, you are greeted with a giant cypress tree in the center of the house and then you are immediately drawn to the unobstructed view through the huge windows. Viewpoint Cabin offers you light and airy interior where you feel suspended in air. An architectural masterpiece!!!

When you are inside, you might curl up in the cozy window seat and read your favorite book. Or you can step outside to the view deck, perfect for enjoying the brisk morning air or bask in the warm afternoon sun on the lounge chair. Then, you relax in the hot tub on the deck.

The unique benefits of the cabin are the following: Wide open view of the mountains from every room. All one level. Hot but on the view deck. Jacuzzi bath in the master bathroom. Tons of hiking trails right out your front door, plus horse stables right in the Leatherwood Mountains complex. Boone is just 35 minutes away!!!

What a great relaxing getaway!

Beautiful place with a beautiful view. Well stocked, very quiet and peaceful and a great place to get away and relax. Joy was very responsive to questions and provided may great suggestions for things to do.

Great privacy

Very nice home in a secure gated community with extreme privacy and extreme views. Only drawback is the long drive to Boone and blowing rock but worth the stay.

Secluded and romantic

Love the seclusion and quietness of the property, beautiful views. I had a few problems with some dirty pots that were left. We had to clean before using. The place was also freezing cold and we were not able to adjust the temperature limited cell service up here so we’re not able to contact the property owners other than those few glitches it was a beautiful stay

Perfect relaxing weekend away

Joy’s mountain house was exactly what we needed. The house itself was beautiful and spacious for two people. We loved the back deck with the hot tub and the window seats with mountain views. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in at a rental house. There was a pretty hike right out the front door that we took our dog on and he loved it! This was overall a great place for us to relax, unplug, and escape.

Great getaway

We enjoyed this property a lot, we rented it for a quiet get away weekend and it was just what we needed. Instructions were clear and this house was very well equipped. Very quiet and the view was beautiful!

Great property. Had a very relaxing time. Cabin is perfect for couples and the views are fantastic. Hiking trail right out the front door. Cabin was spotless and as described. Would (will) definitely stay again.

Anniversary weekend

My husband and I (plus our dogs) wanted a weekend to getaway, to unplug. What a gorgeous view. It was quiet and peaceful. And we loved it. Our host was friendly and made sure we knew she was available for any concerns. Would love to stay again. I have already recommended this lovely cabin to friends of mine. Such a sweet place!

We LOVED this little tree house style cabin. Such a cozy, private spot with a beautiful view, everything you need, comfortable bed, all the things we wanted! Owners have maintained it well and did a great job with instructions/info around the house. Only issue we had was with all the stink bugs, but that’s part of being in the mountains and it didn’t stop us from enjoying our time. Such a perfect couples getaway!

amazing views

First impression of opening the front door is amazing, the cabin was spectacular. From the views to the cozy fireplace everything surpassed my expectations. the only issue i had was the drive up the mountain to get to it, i have a large truck which made some of the narrow turns slightly difficult and more then likely impossible if theres ice or snow so plan accordingly.

Absolutely Relaxing with Breathtaking views

It was everything I dreamed and hoped it would be. 5 stars. Wonderful and clean accommodations. The view is exactly what we hoped for. We enjoyed a kid free weekend in solitude looking at the beautiful mountains and enjoyed the hot tub. Joy is a wonderful host. We will be back again.

Perfect getaway

My wife and decided last minute to stay here for a long weekend. The cabin is everything shown on the pictures. Elegant yet rustic. The views are perfect and the large windows throughout make the experience so much better. We went to blowing rock one day which was about a 45 min drive. Definitely recommend driving there. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful views

We picked this house because the pictures showed great views from inside & outside the house. It was a lovely place for the weekend for just the 2 of us. The window seat was a great place to watch a thunderstorm. The house is definitely up the mountain, but roads in Leatherwood are paved. Easy communication the host, too. Definitely recommend!
