We loved the personal touch given by our host from champage, dinner, information on the chateau and Breakfast. Beautiful surroundings and quiet spot. Lovely!
Exquisite property, a privilege to be able to stay in it!
Fabulous room with almost 360 degree views of the ground. We didn’t get a chance to available of the pool facilities but it looked fabulous.
If you want to experience a classic French chateau then this is the one to do it in!
About 25 minutes drive from Le Mans.
No evening meal possible at the chateau, but the breakfast was quite nice.
This is an absolute gem of a hotel. This was our fourth time staying and we are looking forward to visiting again as soon as we have an excuse to be in the area.
Lovely, quiet chateau - Micol was fantastic in making us feel welcome. Very good for safe parking. There is not much in the immediate area - we drove each night to Le Mans (2 night stay) where we found great restaurants, the circuit tour and museum were good, and walking around the old town was charming.
Fabulous chateau, lovely host, the character and location of this property is just perfect. We had an evening meal to die for, every course personally prepared and served in beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was served in same lovely surroundings as was the evening dinner.
Didn’t use the pool but other guests said it was lovely.
OMG. Such an incredible place. The owner Michole was amazing in every way. She is a wonderful cook and even did our small wedding ceremony in the adjacent chapel. The property is amazing and the Castle in everything I've dreamed of!! We will go back!.
This was the most magical stay. The castle is beautiful and looks amazing for pictures. The grounds are also beautiful as well. The room is kept very well and very clean. There’s 2 living rooms to just hangout and that’s where they serve the before dinner champagne and after dinner coffee or tea. Dinner at the castle is a must, it’s all your Downton Abbey dreams come true experience! The food could be better but the experience was just wonderful. The breakfast is great! There’s so much to choose from. Cold cuts, cereal, yogurt, fresh cut fruit, croissants, breads, and eggs and bacon made to order. And of course, orange juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate. The check in and check out was very warm and welcoming. No elevator though, but there is on site parking.
If you want a castle experience, this is the place!
Wat een geweldig verblijf hadden we hier. Prachtig kasteel!! Hele lieve gastvrouw! Heerlijk diner. Prachtige kamers.
We liked everything. Michol was charming, welcoming, hospitable and a fabulous cook. She made us feel at home, even our 2 1/2 year old grandson. The other guests were friendly and interesting
The chateau is elegant without being stuffy The grounds are breathtaking. We can’t wait to return
Staying in a chateau should be on everyone's bucket list!
We stayed here at short notice and loved every second of the stay. Lovely setting, lovely host, lovely accommodation, great breakfast, etc. Just wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you.
We needed somewhere to stop off on our way to Le Havre coming from Angouleme. It was perfect half way point. Its off the beaten track and down a dirt road that is hard to see but when you drive up to the chateau it is breath taking. Its run by an Italian family who were super friendly and offered us a drink at 7pm. We were a bit bemused why there weren't any other guests other than another couple. This made the hotel seem lonely in such a grand setting. However they only have 5 bedrooms and this is the family's home as well. The most beautiful and grand B&B I've been to. The breakfast was lovely in the grand dining room. Overall its was well worth the stay but I would have liked more guests around as it was very quiet and I therefore felt I had to keep my voice down.
