"My husband and I had a wonderful stay with Jean-Paul & Genevieve in their gorgeous B&B. Located in a small countryside village, we found the location perfect for exploring the wider area, though it is remote from shops & restaurants so you must plan accordingly. "Stays for three nights to explore the medieval city and do a day trip to Toulouse. The hotel is very walkable to the medieval citadel and is also on a bus route so for us, well located for our needs but far from the main carcassonne and taxi to/from the airport will cost over €20. Rooms large and clean, slight drain smell so needed to keep bathroom doors shut. The a/c annoyingly reverted to 25c from 22c during the night time so had to get up to regulate it (was 30/31c during day). Breakfast was varied, plentiful and good quality. Freshly squeezed orange juice machine was a nice touch. Swimming pool was fantastic after a hot day walking the ramparts and exploring the medieval city. Towels are a non-refundable €2 and disappointingly small. Overall we would stay here again if in the area - a well priced, comfortable hotel."
