"This is a pretty good place to stay at. It’s all on one floor but keep in mind it’s up two flights of stairs. On the site it does say that there is no elevator but it doesn’t state clearly that it’s on the second floor. The bathroom was super clean however the floors could use some work there was lots of dirt no carpet. Would stay again if I bring someone to take my suit case up the stairs. The owner was very nice and checks on you throughout your stay. "

"It was a cute place. They apparently have breakfast but couldn't find it in the morning. It may be at the residence next door. When you arrive, there is a bell by the outside gate to push and the owner will come over. I booked a room with 2 beds as it was me and my teenage daughter. the owner said we could only sleep on the one unless we paid an additional $10 EU."

"The location is perfect - a few steps away from tower and cathedral. The staff was very responsive via what’s app until we paid local tax and after that she stopped answering. The B&B is located 4 flights of stairs in the building, once we got there, to get to my room I had to climb a narrow spiral staircase with no hot water in the bathroom. "This property is extremely phenomenal. It’s built in the 1700s and has been well maintained. The area is 9 minutes from the walled city of Lucca. A taxi will cost you 15 euros there but if you’re up for an excursion the hotel rents bike for 30 euros a day. My wife and I enjoyed our stay because the host and their family are extremely lovely."

"We visited Hotel Bologna at the end of our trip arriving just around lunchtime then an overnight stay with breakfast before a late flight the next day. Less than 10 minutes walk from the train station. The reception team could not have been more welcoming, showing us to our room, outlining the and where all of the sights and shops were. Room was comfortable. The breakfast selection was fine, varied and service efficient. We were able to leave our luggage until it was time to go to the airport. Couldn’t ask for more!"
