"This charming castle is truly a gem among Umbrian fields. Set on a hill, it's a very well-maintained and clean hotel, with a pool overlooking the nearby valley. The staff was amazing, and especially Daniela at the reception desk who made us feel like at home. She had lots of recommendations of things to do in the area and made sure we had vegan and vegetarian options at breakfast. The location is very convent if you have a car, as most of the towns like Todi, Perugia, Orvieto and so on are...

"This hotel was so much better in person than it looked online. The rooms were large and we had a balcony with outdoor seating. The staff were very nice and helpful, the air conditioning worked well which was appreciated as it was very hot while we were there. The breakfast buffet was lovely. The location was central to everything. Maybe not perfect for people with mobility issues, as there are some stairs to negotiate here and there, but that is true of many hotels in historic areas."

"The Hotel is Okay, definitely no worth of the name GRAND Hotel. There is nothing Grand about it. It is a decent place for a short stay. Very small rooms with Balcony. I will show you a picture or what they consider a balcony. Nice outside pool. The Staff was very nice. If you go to the Restaurant do not expect a traditional Italian food but tiny portions of something they have to explain in order for you to know what you are eating. No worth the money. Much better food just outside a 3-5 minutes walking."

"Das Haus ist eines der besten Häuser in der Gegend. Es gibt ein wunderschönes Grundstück mit Pool, die Zimmer und die Bäder sind gut eingerichtet. Auch die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet, dass auch ohne Probleme für größere Gruppen gelocht werden kann. Wenn wir wieder in diese Gegend reisen, werden wir gerne wiederkommen. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub!"

Beautiful and Cosy Countryhouse Overlooking Orvieto

"This was a return visit as we enjoyed our stay so much two years ago. The property was just as we found it before - beautifully clean, well presented and very well equipped with everything we needed. Although there was very seating indoors with access to the terrace area, it was also good to have another very comfortable sitting area downstairs - often a little cooler in the heat of August. The outside space was private with loungers and table and chairs for eating under cover, and the views towards Orvieto are spectacular. There is plenty of space for parking next to the property. Our host Simonetta lived in the adjoining property and was always available and extremely helpful if needed, but our property was completely private and so peaceful. We loved everything about the property and the area ( just a 10 minute drive to the centre of Orvieto which is beautiful). Thank you Simonetta for another lovely week. We may be back again."
