Great weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. It poured rain the whole time but we hung out in the front room which was very comfortable and relaxing and spent some time in the hot tub.

We had a wonderful weekend, loved the easy access to the beach and thoughtful added touches (hot tub, beach chairs, kayak). The house is stunning, well designed and with everything you could need for a quiet weekend away. Excited to come back in the summer to make the most of the outside space!

Place so nice we went there twice

Lovely home and property. Lots to look at from the hot tub and sun room. Good location to bounce off of to go on other island adventures. We used it for girl's weekend away. We loved it so much we stayed here twice. Usually we try to find new places each time.

Great Property!

Everything exactly as advertised. We lucked out and had a great snowy landscape looking out the windows. The hot tub was perfect for the cold nights. Would love to come back in the summer and make use of all the water equipment they've been generous enough to share! Location is great proximity to My Washington in the winter too. Neighborhood was very quiet.

Serene shoreline retreat

My family had a wonderful time on this serene, beautifully-decorated shore house near to Ships Point in BC. The decor and gardens include many charming improvised touches, and the overall feel is very peaceful, private, and secluded. Bring a SUP or two as the bay is very warm and shallow at high tide. Sandy beaches within a short drive. Highly recommended for families with young children.

What a beautiful location. The beds were so comfy, home decorated with a stunning and unique West coast style. Sunset Shores!!

We cannot say enough about this beautiful property along the Fanny Bay shoreline. We found it very clean and well stocked for our stay. The location was perfect for exploring the Comox Valley region. Wild life was all around us including a doe and her two fawns, Blue herring and a black bear. After a busy day of exploring we certainly enjoyed unwinding with a cocktail and watching the sun set over the amazing mountain range.

Great location with great views

Views of mountains are great, perfect access to the water, and hot tub is great. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. AC is only in the kitchen but there are two fans to circulate fresh air from windows. Additionally, access to queen bedroom is through double bedroom. Double bedroom does not have a door, only a curtain.

Amazing beach home in beautiful area!

Sunny Shores was an incredible home base for a group of 4 women friends on our trip to Vancouver Island. The house is very spacious with lots of cool spaces to hang out and enjoy the great views of a quiet inlet. It provided everything we needed and was comfortable and cozy with great beach cabin décor. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals and the deck space was a great spot for morning coffee or evening drinks. Bedrooms had comfortable beds with plenty of linens and supplies for our stay. Neighborhood was quiet and perfect for easy walks to other beaches. Very close to the highway to access other parts of the island. Owners were very responsive to a few questions we had during stay and we would highly recommend this great place for a visit.

Nice cottage but….

We enjoyed the general location but not the location of the property. At high tide the water came up to our knees and at low tide there was quite a walk to the ocean water. The view was onto vegetation across the narrow cove. Nothing compared to other places we stayed. It rained all week so that made everything negative more pronounced. The cottage it self was very good and clean.

The property was more rustic than expected, was spacious and quiet, in a quiet area. We were not told until after booking that there is an ant issue, and the ants were significant. We felt compelled to ensure all food was in an enclosed cooler each night.Bedrooms and bathrooms were good, but seating in sunroom was very uncomfortable.All appliances were good but the kettle did not work, and when I contacted the owner about it during our stay there was no reply.Overall, for the most part nice amenities and location, apart from the ants.

Spaceship Cool

Stellar location on the bay and the interior is spacious and bright. Great swimming out front and lots if birdsong. Perfect for what we wanted.
