"The hotel itself was lovely. Clean, great views, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast had a nice variety, but ended pretty promptly at 9am. Coffee and hot water we're available throughout the day. A couple things of note. The room description lists both a refrigerator and microwave, but there was no microwave except for a single shared one in the main breakfast room, which was inconvenient at best. The pool and hot tub are part of the on-site fitness center and close for the day at 8pm, along with the gym facilities. This was frustrating as it is not stated anywhere online and we got in right at 8 hoping to check it out. The room itself was clean and spacious and we would stay again with the knowledge that there are some key details missing in the write up"

"Communication from host was great! House was clean and bedrooms were good size. Great game room, we enjoyed our morning coffee in the game room and even had a morning fire in the fire pit one day. Very convenient to restaurants and bars, 2 minute walk to everything we wanted to do. Beautiful area, quiet neighborhood. Would stay here again!"

"The place was peaceful and the creek in front was fun to watch the wildlife. Loved being able to view out half of the dome. Has a large field of wild flowers with lots of birds you can watch from a swing . This is a rustic place but all that we needed"
Stunning Large Waterfront Home on Sodus Bay w/ Private Beach, Dock & In-Law Unit

"Excellent host and property! When Bob said just bring your food and clothes, he was not kidding. Everything was here from linens, beach towels, all paper products and plastic ware to more formal options in dishes, even laundry detergent and shampoo and soap! This was a great cost savings. We had 11 adult people on our max night, down to 5 on our slowest last night and never felt cramped or on top of one another. The overflow fridge was a good sentiment as we cooked breakfast and dinner each day. The deck was where we gathered and spent most of our time together as a family and made most of our memories and had ample room for all to be spread out and enjoy the laughter. S’mores down by the water at the fire pit was relaxing and plenty of sticks around to make your cooker for the marshmallow's. We rented a boat for a few days and that was easy pick up and drop off at Tides Marina and the dock on the property was plenty large enough for a big pontoon boat. We had four ducks that stayed with us down by the water each day and they became part of our family, even allowing us to pet them! Absolutely loved it here, it was the perfect carefree get away for a large family! Thank you Bob for making it easy!"
