"The hotel itself was lovely. Clean, great views, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast had a nice variety, but ended pretty promptly at 9am. Coffee and hot water we're available throughout the day. A couple things of note. The room description lists both a refrigerator and microwave, but there was no microwave except for a single shared one in the main breakfast room, which was inconvenient at best. The pool and hot tub are part of the on-site fitness center and close for the day at 8pm, along with the gym facilities. This was frustrating as it is not stated anywhere online and we got in right at 8 hoping to check it out. The room itself was clean and spacious and we would stay again with the knowledge that there are some key details missing in the write up"

Stunning Large Waterfront Home on Sodus Bay w/ Private Beach, Dock & In-Law Unit

"Excellent host and property! When Bob said just bring your food and clothes, he was not kidding. Everything was here from linens, beach towels, all paper products and plastic ware to more formal options in dishes, even laundry detergent and shampoo and soap! This was a great cost savings. We had 11 adult people on our max night, down to 5 on our slowest last night and never felt cramped or on top of one another. The overflow fridge was a good sentiment as we cooked breakfast and dinner each day. The deck was where we gathered and spent most of our time together as a family and made most of our memories and had ample room for all to be spread out and enjoy the laughter. S’mores down by the water at the fire pit was relaxing and plenty of sticks around to make your cooker for the marshmallow's. We rented a boat for a few days and that was easy pick up and drop off at Tides Marina and the dock on the property was plenty large enough for a big pontoon boat. We had four ducks that stayed with us down by the water each day and they became part of our family, even allowing us to pet them! Absolutely loved it here, it was the perfect carefree get away for a large family! Thank you Bob for making it easy!"

"This was by far the best rental we’ve ever had, and we’ve stayed a lot of places. It was clean, so thoughtfully stocked with everything one could possibly need, the hosts were responsive, kind and welcoming, the property was perfection both inside and out. We were four households of friends coming together for several days to play and enjoy being together. The main living room with all the windows and the upstairs porch were superb for watching sunsets and the lake. There was plenty to do inside, outside and nearby. We appreciated that there was a first floor bedroom with a walk in shower for an ambulatory wheelchair user, loved all the comfy couches and that there was table space and dishes for everyone in our group of 10. Also loved that we could bring our pups along. If I could give six stars I would. Truly a stellar experience and we hope to return next year"
