We had a fantastic time at this property. We could have shown up with just our clothes and food and been good to go. They’ve thought of everything from an Alexa to condiment packages in the fridge We will definitely be back to enjoy the views, tranquility, and hot tub!
The cabin is absolutely beautiful! The views out the living room windows are nothing short of spectacular! Ample space for our party of nine and the property management company was very responsive to my questions. Lots of wildlife to enjoy even though this is in a neighborhood of surrounding cabins.
Very clean, incredible view. Very helpful, detailed communication leading up to and following our stay. 40 minutes from downtown Breckenridge but a beautiful drive that never got old.
The property was well-stocked with the essentials and more (my favorite were the little hot sauce packets in the fridge). We had a great time on nearby hikes with the kids. Dirt road to the property is quite bumpy and long, as mentioned. Would recommend!
We were in love with this property from the start. Breathtaking views and tranquil mornings were our favorite qualities of the property. Prepare to be at 11k feet in altitude. If you don’t have time to adjust in Denver, purchase some oxygen in Fairplay- about 20 minutes away from the location.
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. The views are unbeatable. It was nice to be able to park our vehicle in the detached garage during our stay. There is an approximate 2 mile drive on a dirt road to get to the cabin which wasn't a problem in the summer, but be prepared if visiting in the winter. The driveway is also steep. Property was wooded, but could still see the neighbors houses out the windows of the cabin. Communication with the host was easy and quick. We would definitely stay here again.
The cabin was just as advertised. Clean and spacious which was important to us! A group of 7 of us stayed and we had the best time on our ski trip. The hosts were super responsive as well. It is about a 40 minute drive to Breckenridge but was worth the stay for us.
Our stay at Valley of the Sun was fantastic. Everything about the property was as listed. Very clean, very organized, and the hosts were very easy to communicate with and helped out with any questions or needs we may have encountered. I would highly recommend this property and would book again.
My friends and I had a lovely retreat in the mountains! The house is beautiful and has plenty of space for gathering. The house is gorgeous and fully stocked, everything was easy to find.
My wife and I stayed here with our 3 kids ages between 14-18. The house was big enough to feel like you had plenty of room. It is at 11,000 feet- so it took a couple days to acclimate to that. Also, you have a 4 mile gravel road with lots of pot holes to travel up and down anytime you want to go anywhere. It takes about 15 minutes to drive the 4 miles. So if you plan to do different activities each day, keep that in mind. It took around 45 minutes to drive to Breckenridge. If you are looking for a place away from it all, this is your place.
The house was well stocked with everything you can think of and the host would text back right away with anything you needed. The deck was nice, but not as big as I was thinking from the pictures. The hot tub will fit 4 adults comfortably. We were there in late July- so during the day it would get a little warm upstairs (no air conditioning), but they had box fans that I put in the window and by early evening it was nice again. The lower level stayed cool most of the time- so you could hang out down there. Overall a great experience- these are just a few things I wish I knew ahead of time.
The house was spacious and clean with a very good view off the deck. Lots of great scenery in the location and good hikes to go on. Hosts were very communicative and checked in by email to make sure things were going ok. Definitely recommend!
From the moment we booked through the entire stay, Tina and the team were fantastic communicators. We felt really well taken care of the entire weekend.
The lodge and its views are even better than the photos! Our whole group was really pleased the breathtaking views from the entire main floor. In addition to the hot tub, we also got use out of the sleds that were at the house which made for a really fun snowy afternoon.
Thanks Tina and team for an A+ stay!
This house was great for our group of 5. Lovely house and accommodating host.
We did have issues with the water (completely stopped working on New Years Day). Obviously unforeseen but it took several hours to get water delivered to the house. The property manager was very responsive and helpful to rectify the situation, especially on a holiday, but was rather inconvenient.
Also worth reiterating the elevation - 2 of us (both living in Denver) experienced altitude sickness when we arrived.
Overall we had a great stay!
This was a beautiful home for our summer getaway! Accommodations were 10/10, and we enjoyed the extra touches like a hot tub for relaxing after a long hike. Our dog got to enjoy the stay with us, and we loved spending time on the patio. Tina was a great host!
The process to rent the property was very simple and easy. It is a beautiful property but a little expensive. The help and attention to our concerns were excellent, I would definitely recommend staying here! My only suggestion is to arrange to have the driveway plowed prior to guest departing.
