We had a wonderful stay at The Chena Hills Chill & Hot Soak! The house was clean, warm, cozy, and comfortable. We went to multiple popular aurora viewing locations, but the front yard of this house ended up giving us the best views of the Northern Light multiple nights in a row.

A fabulous place. Away from the city but easy access. Very clean. Very well organized. One minor call to rental staff handled immediately and very professionally. Highly recommend.

Living space is spacious. Most windows do not open or open minimally resulting in minimal air flow and a warm house during the summer months. Screened in porch and deck are not usable due to lack of furniture and cleanliness which was disappointing. The views from the home are beautiful and the location worked for our needs.

The place is great if the location works for you. It’s not far from town and we found it convenient. The house itself is a cozy place to stay. The neighborhood is a beautiful place to get in walks, runs or biking if hills are your thing. If you have any ADA type issues, this may not be the best place. There are a number of small flooring changes and levels throughout. This wasn’t a concern for us, but it’s something to note. We all agreed that we’d definitely stay here again.

Comfortable getaway in Fairbanks

I highly recommend this property in Fairbanks if you are looking for a comfortable and quiet family getaway. It is spacious and has more than enough room for a family of four or five to spread out and enjoy themselves for an extended stay. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. The beds were comfortable also. The management was super easy to work with as we had a few issues, and they worked with us and went above and beyond to make things work. It was much appreciated. The only issue I had with cleanliness was being surprised with a very full garbage can in the kitchen upon arrival. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

BEWARE - This house is listed as "ENTIRE HOME NO SHARED SPACE" but has a long term tentant living on the property. The tenant lives in a HOMEMADE apartment above the kitchen. In June 2026, you could see the unfinished drywall and a DOOR that is blocked by a book case. If you want to use the hot tub, you will be in clear view of the second floor balconey that is used by the tenant. The tenant's access to their "apartment" is an exterior staircase that looks into the kitchen (NO WINDOW TREATMENTS). The first floor bathroom was pictured in such a way that you did not see the laundry area is included in that space - it also had a weird exterior door - very shady. Side note - the kitchen is severely understocked (very little flatware, utensils and dishes, plus the pots/pans are old and scratched). Only one bedroom had blackout curtains. We were very uncomfortable and the owner/manager was unwilling to assist.
