The Airport Chalet

Comfortable and modern remodeled 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath home with a garage just 2 minutes from Fairbanks International Airport. Very close to stores and town. You will feel right at home and able to relax during your visit to Fairbanks.

Sit back and relax in this completely remodeled home located in a great neighborhood in west Fairbanks just two minutes away from Fairbanks International Airport.

When you arrive, there will be cold bottled water and snacks waiting for you along with a Keurig and pods. The kitchen is fully stocked with a variety of large and small appliances along with all of the cook and bakeware you will need to prepare delicious meals.

The living space is located on the second floor above the garage. The three bedrooms all have queen beds with quality mattresses and bedding, one bedroom with a smart TV with apps. There is a private washer and dryer. If you are traveling with little ones we also have a pack and play, high chair, and books, games and toys available.

The home is located on the Westside of Fairbanks and is close to downtown, grocery stores, University of Alaska Museum and other local attractions. Chena Hot Springs is about one hour away and Denali National Park is about two hours away. The bus line and bike paths are a couple blocks away.

Are you traveling with a large group?! Additionally on the property are two separate short-term rental units. One is a one bedroom one bath cabin, and the other is a three bedroom one and a half bathroom. Please inquiry for booking multiple units on the property.

Making sure you have a completely enjoyable stay is our highest priority!

Private entrance and a one car heated garage that is available, with additional parking to the right of the Airport Chalet.
Please do not park in front of any of the garage doors.

We try to make sure each guest has everything they need when they arrive for a comfortable stay. We send out an electronic guidebook loaded with local information and strive to make sure you are familiar with your surroundings and how to find things. We are available when needed and welcome all respectful guests to book our home.

Great neighborhood located in west Fairbanks very close to the airport.

Plenty of onsite parking at the house. Bus route is nearby along with access to the bike paths.

Great stay!

We loved staying here in Fairbanks. Not far from anything you would want to do. Quiet neighborhood. Also got to see the northern lights just outside in the front yard. Overall great place to stay!

Beautiful spot in Fairbanks!

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Airport Chalet. The unit was clean and orderly and had everything we needed to feel welcome. The place was nice and warm upon our arrival which was really comforting because it was very cold out! Would stay here again, we highly recommend!

The 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was a nice touch to offer snacks to guests. We didn’t partake (only because we stopped at the store beforehand), but we did enjoy the coffee variety offered. Loved that we had a garage to keep the rental car - especially enjoyable during winter months. Host was responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Home away from home

We stayed for almost a week at the Airport Chalet and really enjoyed the property. The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us to spread out. A great kitchen layout with a big eating bar made it easy to fix some meals and snacks when we weren't eating out. And the complimentary bottle of wine and snacks were awesome.

This was a very nice place to stay during our short visit. If we didn't have further plans, we would have stayed for days. The room was nice and clean and well stocked. The location was quiet and roomy. A bottle of wine was waiting on us when we got there which was a surprise. The instructions were very clear and the host was very responsive with my questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Rail to Air

My family had a short 1 1/2 day stay in Fairbanks between getting off the rail and heading to the airport. The Airport Chalet was the perfect spot. A lovely home with everything you need for a quick or extended stay. Convenient to stores and Fairbanks attractions as well as airport and rail depot.
