Fairbanks Penthouse for the Working guys

This Penthouse was perfect to two guys in town to work. Lots of room, separate rooms and baths. Great location to town, restaurants and a bakery. We really enjoyed the Media room for watching TV. We will stay again when working in Fairbanks.

Unique stay

The penthouse over the newspaper building is an interesting and novel accommodation with plenty of room and a spacious kitchen for preparing meals. It is close to downtown Fairbanks and the property manager was easy to work with.

Wonderful place to stay

Great place to stay, great location, very well stocked. Had everything we needed. The elevator was a nice extra touch. Any time I had a question the host responded very quickly. We were even able to see the northern lights faintly from the balcony.

Perfect place for us

We wanted a place that we could have our grandson age 3 visit us overnight and not feel cramped. Also a place that I could make a great meal or several for my family while visiting. Although most of our stay was just my husband and I the home over and exceeded our expectations for everything we wanted and needed. The kitchen is amazing to cook in with all the room and counter space. Perfect location, great views, exceptional instruction for check in and the communication with the host was top notch and extremely fast and easy.

Overall, the penthouse suite was basically a nice and spacious place to stay for four adults; a lot more comfortable than staying in hotel and cleaner too. The layout of the suite was nice. We had one request for the manager which she took care of in a pleasant manner. Kitchen was spacious but needs more utensils and a full sized coffee pot. Dining room was nice but chairs need to be reupholstered with support underneath the seat area. Bedrooms were nice and spacious but the pillows on the beds were uncomfortable. Master bathroom was spacious but there was a light in the shower area that was strobing and a couple of tiles that were missing grout and exposing some sharp edges. The hall bathroom shower was too tiny for the average sized man to take a comfortable shower. The den/TV room was nice but the remotes batteries for the TV were almost dead and had to be replaced. The batteries in the TV remote for the master bedroom were completely dead. I may seem to be nitpicking on some of these details but if nobody points out some of these details, nothing will ever be fixed. The penthouse suite is too nice of a rental unit to fall in to disrepair.

The Executive Suite is located two blocks from downtown Fairbanks near the river walk. We were visiting our children and grandchildren who live in Fairbanks, so this was our get away and place for entertaining family and old Fairbanks friends. It’s very spacious, with a large living room, dining room, den/library, fully equipped kitchen, and a deck. It is essentially a large home. The check-in instructions were clear with dedicated parking next to the front door. The property was spotless upon arrival with lots of clean linens and towels. The very large, well-stocked kitchen was immaculate. We slept comfortably in the king bed and the den/library was perfect for unwinding at the end of the day with a large TV and plenty of comfortable chairs. Our grandchildren loved it. The internet connection was good and served our purposes. The over-sized walk-in shower was a standout and our shower-adverse grandchildren wanted to shower every day when they visited. The Executive Suite is a gem for those looking to escape the confines of a small hotel room. We especially enjoyed the extra room, the kitchen, library and having a washer and dryer. We took our constitutional walks each day on the nearby riverwalk. We’ve stayed in hotels in past visits so we were very pleased to be able to entertain and relax in this very spacious, clean property. We'll be back and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

The penthouse was the perfect place for my family of four. Four adults traveling together all had their own space. The kitchen was amazing and we enjoyed putting together a 1000 piece puzzle during our long weekend at the large dining room table. My son is in a wheelchair and it had total accessibility. It was so much nicer than staying at a hotel. Thanks for your hospitaltity!

Bucket list trip

Home was perfect. We used as base to visit everything we could see in Fairbanks. Including Arctic circle. 2 couples and not a bit crowded. Almost to luxurious. Great memories.
