Entire 2BR 1Bath Apt “The Downtown Deneege”

The bright and airy Downtown Deneege (moose in Athabascan) overlooks our beautiful public library park and is walking distance from downtown shopping, restaurants, the local hospital and more. Moose frequent the park, so be ready with your camera! Simplicity meets functional and cozy in this freshly remodeled unit making your stay comfortable and effortless. If you like traveling light, we've got the essentials covered! We can't wait to share Fairbanks with you.
The space
This is a beautiful 2BR 1 Bath apartment unit located on the second floor. Both Bedrooms have queen beds, space for clothing, luggage racks, and fans for summer months. There is a hall closet where you will find extra blankets, towels and more. Small laundry area with ironing board, and cleaning supplies.

There are long term renters in the apartment below, so we ask that you be mindful of parking and noise levels after 10PM. Renters downstairs do have 2 dogs that are friendly, and are always leashed. Just a heads up if you cross paths.
Guest access
Guests have access to the second floor of duplex and street parking in front of the duplex.
Other things to note
We've got three kids and know how stressful it is to travel with kiddos. Please let us know if you need any extras to make your stay a little easier. Pack and play is always available, but we are able to provide some extras if you give us a heads up.

There is a security camera on site above the garage. This has view of the front of the home, some of the side street and parking spots.

The deck will under go construction in the next few weeks to give it a revamp as the rest of the unit was just remodelled. It is safe to go out and sit on and enjoy your coffee or check out the park across the street. Please try to stay off the railing.

Wonderful place!

Very comfortable, well appointed. Danielle takes care of lots of details, such as providing coffee and snacks, laundry supplies, and bathroom toiletries. Location was excellent, very close to downtown. Will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Fairbanks.

Clean and comfy

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfy apartment. Everything was perfect! We enjoyed the short walk into town for dinner. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wonderful Fairbanks Apartment

We very much enjoyed staying here. Everything was neat and clean with beautiful design thought out. Property was full of everything you needed. We have never stayed in a place that had so many little extras! The hosts truly thought of everything. Great location with a beautiful view of the park across the street. Our host was gracious enough to give us all the information we needed early on. This helps so much with travel stress. Check in and out was simple. Not a ton of hoops to jump through. There was a slight bit of road noise, which really wasn’t an issue. We would love to come back again and stay longer.

Thoughtfully appointed and super clean apartment conveniently located to downtown. Kitchen was well equipped with coffee and snacks and drinking water. Situated across the street from a large green space in a quiet setting. Would definitely stay again when visiting Fairbanks.

Modern, Clean, & Quiet

We just stayed for an overnight work trip and the place was ready and very clean when we go there. It was easy to let ourselves in with the check-in instructions. There was plenty of coffee! It was overall a very comfortable place to stay, centrally located, and there was no noise disturbance of any kind. We will definitely stay here again the next time we stop over in Fairbanks.

A great start for our road trip

Our flight got in after midnight ..13 hours of flying. Walking into Danielle 's place was so welcoming. Immaculate and had everything and more that we needed. The bed we slept in was very comfortable. Location was great for the start of our road trip. Danielle had great communication and very timely. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Perfect place in Fairbanks!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Its location is perfect, just outside downtown but still within easy walking distance. The unit has been beautifully remodeled and the owners have included so many small touches that make if feel like a nice cozy home away from home. Our bed was super comfortable and it is the most well equipped and clean rental we’ve stayed in. The owners have put together an amazing book of recommendations, with something for every type of traveler, which we really appreciated! We are already planning out next trip back and hope to be able to stay at this property again!

Fairbanks Fab

Wow…this was the cleanest…and nicest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. This should be a model for all rentals. The decor was comfortable and modern. The bed heavenly! It’s the attention to detail that really impressed me. The towels and bedding were first class. The bathroom and kitchen were fully stocked with just about everything you need…all high quality. And the owner left a wonderful book of ideas for things to do…restaurants and bars. We took advantage of several selections…and we were not disappointed! This is a first class accommodation. Enjoy!

Great Fairbanks Accommodation

Danielle‘s second floor apartment was everything and more as advertised. It was immaculate, well stocked, and furnished, and provided plenty of room for the two of us. It is in a great location near downtown Fairbanks and the University of Alaska. We highly recommend choosing this place if you’re staying in Fairbanks for a visit.

Location location location

The apartment is large and spacious. It was nicely decorated and had all the amenities washer dryer Roku TV microwave full size refrigerator and the kitchen was well stocked with all the stuff needed to cook. There is a park right out the front door a good place to take a walk. The location for me was Fantastic so close to everything.

Don't miss this one - CLEAN, great location, awesome host

We stayed 4 nights here. This place is so clean - as clean as I like my own home! The host is one of the best, you can tell she put much thought and effort into making the stay easier and more comfortable. There are so many little "extras" that I have not found in most VRBO's - too many to name them all here. No need for bottled water - if you let the cold water run a little it gets really cold and tastes great. Within walking distance to "downtown" Fairbanks. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful apartment

This apartment is everything we could have wanted for a couple nights in Fairbanks. It was very well furnished and decorated.
