    Discover a truly exceptional over-the-water retreat located on a private, secluded island just an 8-minute boat ride from the main island of Bocas del Toro.

    This unique property is only accessible by boat, offering complete privacy and an authentic island experience. Your dedicated caretaker, Mr. Brown, has been welcoming and assisting guests for over 12 years. He resides on the island and provides complimentary transportation to and from the property once daily before sunset, ensuring a seamless and comfortable stay.

    Guests can enjoy complimentary use of kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkel gear. Step directly from the deck into crystal-clear Caribbean waters, or unwind in the hammock while watching boats drift by in peaceful surroundings.

    Located in Big Bight, near the Las Cabanas port, the home is just minutes from the famous Starfish Island and other local attractions, while still offering the feeling of complete seclusion.

    At night, experience total tranquility with no light pollution—just the stars, the sea, and the soft sounds of nature.

    The home is fully off-grid and powered by a reliable solar energy system, with upgraded panels installed in January 2024. A propane grill is also available on the deck for outdoor cooking and dining.

    This is more than a stay—it is a private island lifestyle surrounded by natural beauty, serenity, and the Caribbean Sea.

What a superb location! We were a family of four and would absolutely love to come back with even more family members next time.Both the kids and adults had an amazing time enjoying the inflatable obstacle course, stand-up paddleboarding, and kayaking. Some of our favorite memories were watching a storm roll in from the swing on the deck, catching fish, and drinking coffee while watching the sunrise.The host thought of so many little details that made our stay more comfortable. There was a basket stocked with bug spray, anti-itch cream, and sunscreen, which was incredibly thoughtful. Coffee and drinking water were also provided, and we really appreciated that.One helpful tip for future guests: keep the lights off for about an hour after sunset. We followed that advice and had virtually no issues with bugs at night.The host was very responsive throughout our stay. The local family helping manage the property spoke very little English, and we spoke very little Spanish, but with the help of a translator app and plenty of hand gestures, we had a lot of fun communicating.We highly recommend this property and will definitely choose it again when we return with more family members. A wonderful experience from start to finish!
