Search Exochori hotels

The best time to visit Exochori is during the shoulder seasons of May, June, September, and early October.

During these months, the weather is pleasantly warm, ideal for exploring the Mani Peninsula's hiking trails and villages, and for enjoying the local beaches. You'll avoid the intense heat of mid-summer and the larger crowds that flock to the region in July and August. This allows for a more relaxed experience, whether you're exploring the historic towers of Kardamyli or simply enjoying a meal by the sea.

Couples looking for a romantic escape will find these months particularly appealing. The calmer atmosphere allows for intimate moments, from sunset strolls along the coast to enjoying local wine at a taverna. Many boutique accommodations offer stunning views of the Messenian Gulf, great for a peaceful getaway.

Families travelling with children will also appreciate the shoulder seasons. The sea is warm enough for swimming, but the temperatures are more comfortable for outdoor activities like visiting the Diros Caves or exploring the olive groves.
