"Stayed in a 2 bedroom oceanfront unit. Wonderful balconey and view. Unit was clean and spacious. Not much cookware available but we did not cook while there. Was able to get prime and netflix to work but had trouble getting regular service. Enjoyed our stay."

"Overall our stay at the property and in the Lighthouse was very pleasant and enjoyable. It was very quiet so it was like having a private beach. The Lighthouse is small and quaint as described with amazing views. Having the Chrishi Beach Club (restaurant) on site was very convenient. There are a few other places to eat within walking distance, but the main supermarket requires a cab ride.Although not an issue for some, renters should be aware that the window coverings provide privacy, and some limited light protection, but not great. There is also glass block on three walls so when the sun rises, the Lighthouse gets light!We had a small issue with our shower (not getting to a desired temperature) that was going to get addressed."

"We found it very difficult to communicate with the absentee owner, who had not provided proper directions even up to the time when we arrived in Charlestown. Only through the assistance of a stranger who allowed us to use his office wifi, were we able to talk with the owner, who was in Hong Kong, then our newfound friend drove us to the location in his personal car. We were met there by a local person who apparently cares for the property. The house is badly in need of repair, many lights not working wifi inoperable, as was the TV, insufficient towels, no clothes washer although the listing clearly included a washer. Not very clean, either.The gas stovetop also was inoperable.This property should be removed from a rental listing until it is properly renovated and prepared for guests."
