Fantastic hotel, set in beautiful grounds with a pool and tennis courts. A short drive away you have access to arguably the best beach on the island with a bar and amenities. We loved our time here and would thoroughly recommend.

A special Nevisian hotel

Wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel with extensive well cared for grounds. The food was of a high cullinary standard and breakfast was included. Rum punch one of the best ever.

Wonderful Stay

It was a smooth check in upon our arrival and the receptionist gave us a brief tour of the hotel. The entire staff was warm and friendly. Great customer service. Just one flaw, we ate dinner on one night and it was just okay for our tastebuds. However, our overall stay was incredible and we will definitely stay there again.

We attended my aunties wedding at Montpelier and then checked in a few days later to celebrate my birthday and the staff were incredible. Even when we were visiting in the run up not as hotel guests kaddy made us feel right at home making us look forward to our stay! Montpelier is always a highlight of my Nevis trips but this was the first time staying and I’ll definitely be back! Thank you kaddy and all the lovely ladies that checked us in and created an incredible wedding day for my auntie. See you soon! Serena

We had an amazing visit! Truly wish it had been longer. The fresh flowers in the room and a hand written welcome note was a lovely way to start our holiday. Some of the most beautiful grounds and every space is decorated beautifully! They assisted in helping with transfers, cabs and our waterfall hike. It was a wonderful visit! Special thanks to Mandy, Asheena, Leslie, Kaddy, young male bartender and Giovanna for always knowing our names, greetings us with a smile, mixing tasty cocktails and mocktails and for telling us about the grounds, history of the island and sharing what a magical place it is. I almost forgot Cosmo- the best resort dog/a real good boy!

The Montpelier Plantation and Beach Hotel is set in lush, landscaped grounds and made up of historic stone and wood buildings, with accommodation being twin bungalows with verandahs dotted around the property. We found all the staff to be exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The room we stayed in for 4 nights, was very generous in size with a large bathroom. Fridge, kettle, coffee maker, cold water and other ameneties were supplied. We visited in mid November and were very comfortable sleeping with ceiling fan only and the window louvres open. Everything worked and the bed was very comfortable. However, after 2 peaceful nights when the next door room was unoccupied and the only noise at nighttime and early morning was the crickets, birdsong and further off donkeys braying, the quiet of our room was disturbed by the noise of the outdoor unit of the adjoining room's AC, which was placed directly beneath our bathroom window and next to our verandah. I would highly recommend that the hotel try to relocate that AC unit, as the noise was really quite intrusive (room 2).

By far one of the nicest places I have stayed. The grounds are stunning, the staff are the nicest people, and the food is fantastic. Set on a hill in Nevis, the views are just beautiful, we were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony facing the sea. The complimentary breakfast choices are so good - excellent options are available and with complimentary afternoon tea and choicy lunch/dinner menus, you will never go hungry here. There are some lovely walks in the area, including the Botanical Gardens, which are worth the short stroll. There is a shuttle bus to the hotels private beach, this too is worth a visit or two, has cocktails on tap and if your feeling hungry you can have the hotel make you a packed lunch or walk two minutes to the restaurants in the area. We will be back - it was a very easy journey over from Antigua. Loved, loved, loved Montpelier!
