The Kings River Deck House sits above The Nature Conservancy’s Kings River Preserve, offering peaceful views, fresh mountain air, and plenty of space to unwind. With room for up to 20 guests, it’s perfect for small family gatherings or relaxed team retreats.

This a beautiful lodge with an amazing view and deck. Huge beams, glass window walls, a huge rock fireplace, large kitchen - very impressive. Unfortunately, it is not well kept up - fireplace is not useable; broken ice makers, fire alarms, outdoor lighting, etc. My family loves this lodge, our second visit, and did have a great Thanksgiving there in spite of the drawbacks. It just needs an investment in upkeep and TLC.

The house is private and has a really jaw-dropping view. We were fortunate to be there during fall foliage and on a full moon. We were a group of 14 and loved the kitchen, which is equipped with two refrigerators and two coffee pots, as well as a dining table that accommodated all of us. The biggest drawback is that there is no bathroom on the second floor, which has eight of the beds - if that is important to you, it is a consideration. The house was clean and the property manager was very responsive.
