Garden Cottage on College Hill

This is a clean, quiet, sunny, sweet, little cottage tucked into a quiet alley in the Friendly Area Neighborhood on College Hill, only a mile from downtown and the University of Oregon. If you like walking, it's easy to get most places on foot, yet it is privately situated behind another property we own and accessible via a quiet alley. Parking is private, off-street and very close.

In the summer, there is an air conditioner to keep the temperature comfortable. In the winter you can sit in front of the gas fireplace and watch movies curled up under one of the throws. There is a love seat, an armchair and a rocking chair to relax in.

The living room, kitchen and dining area have an open floor plan. There are doors to the bedroom and bathroom. Our remodeled vintage cottage features the original exposed brick chimney and fir floors from the 1940s, which give it a nice warm glow. It is full of windows and skylights. There are updated tile floors in the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen has a gas stove to cook on and is stocked with quality pots and pans and a Keurig coffee maker with coffee provided. There are fresh herbs growing just outside the front door for you to snip! There is a 27" smart TV and high speed internet with which you can enjoy TV shows and movies through your Netflix, Hulu or other entertainment accounts. There is also an HDMI cable so you can connect your device directly to the TV.

Just outside the windows of the main living area there is a little brick patio, garden beds and a rose arbor. It is a lovely place in the warmer months to enjoy a cup of coffee and a good book, sip a glass of wine with a friend or enjoy a full meal. The maple tree gives you nice shade in the summer and beautiful foliage in the fall.

Our downtown is bustling with casual to upscale cafes, restaurants, brew pubs unique food booths, shops and theaters. I am happy to offer suggestions if you let me know what you're looking for!

I live next door so I am readily available to respond to any issues that arise. I enjoy meeting new people and sharing insider information about our lovely town if it is desired, but level of interaction is totally up each guest. The cottage has a keyless entry and is set up for self check-in.

Cozy cottage

Adorable Cabin in the Heart of Eugene

This little cabin is the perfect spot to stay if you are visiting Eugene! It was centrally located, had parking, and looked exactly as the photos, while still being private and cozy! Our host Jennifer was attentive and provided everything we needed for our stay. Sadly it rained all weekend when we stayed, but had to been nicer, it would have been perfect to get around on foot! We wouldn’t hesitate to rent this cabin again if we were in town! 10 outta 10!

Wonderful Eugene Cottage

This was a very cute, cozy, comfortable cottage located in a quite, quiet neighborhood in Eugene. Jennifer was very helpful when I had a mix-up with my reservation (my error). The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, dishware, etc. Highly recommend this cottage for 1-2 people during your stay in Eugene!

One of my favorite VRBOs

Jennie’s place is the best! So cozy, and tastefully decorated. Overall great vibes! Jennie also anticipates her guests needs. Not only was the kitchen well stocked with supplies, including coffee, tea, cloth napkins, lovely plates and cups, but she even had a brand new toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss in the cabinet for the forgetful traveler! 😁I remembered my brush and paste, but totally forgot my floss and was delighted to find some. I will be back! Highly recommend.

The house was a very cute cottage, well stocked with what ever you needed. The coffee situation was a french press for you coffee drinkers. Good wifi and TV. The place was very clean lots of towels. The cottage worked well for me being a individual or for a couple.

The cottage was everything it was said to be. Lits if beautiful flowers. It was nicely decorated with lots of personal touches. Jennifer was a great host and solved any problems we had quickly. We would definitely recommend this place and stay again.

Charming and Comfortable Cottage

We found the cottage to be a cozy home away from home that fit our needs for our several days in Eugene and nestled among beautiful trees, flowers and plants. We found it was supplied with everything needed for meals at the cottage and convenient walking distance to restaurants. It was fun walking in the neighborhood, enjoying a sense of place and admiring homes and gardens in the area. Jennie is a convivial and knowledgeable host who will match your interests with available activities and is great at communicating with you and providing touch points if needed. Sweet vintage cottage in the heart of Eugene Oregon

Staying at the Sweet Vintage Cottage in the heart of Eugene, Oregon, was truly a delightful experience. The host was incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Great place for a short stay
