"Lovely staff, offered to take our bags to the room, always polite and helpful. Had a Superior Twin room with balcony overlooking the gardens, table and chairs on balcony. Nice and peaceful and quiet outlook. Pool area was nice, even had a dip though it was the end of February so water was a bit cold. There was a man with a bird of prey round the pool to chase the seagulls away as they had a tendancy to land in the pool! Breakfast was exceptional, buffet style, cooked breakfast, continental meats and cheeses, huge selection of fresh bread, pastries, fresh prepared fruit and yoghurts, cereals, fresh juices, coffee and tea and even prosecco! In a great location with walking distance to supermarket, Lagos town and the beaches. Would definitely stay again."

"Fantastic view from balcony of secluded ocean cove. About 15 minute pleasurable walk to boardwalk. Many good restaurants a short walk away. Breakfast buffet was excellent and varied. Outdoor pool had wonderful view of ocean also. Will stay again. "

"We had a lovely stay at PortoBay Blue Ocean. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and we loved the beautiful plants and trees around the hotel, it gave the place a very peaceful feel. The sunset views were stunning. Such a thoughtful touch when they surprised us with chocolate-covered strawberries and orange juice for a birthday — it made the stay extra special!
The variety if options at the breakfast buffet was also good."
