With two decks there is plenty of space to sit and watch the abundant wildlife, relax in the spacious hot tub and star gaze, lay in the hammock with a cold drink listening to the river or enjoy a BBQ at the picnic table. The family friendly neighborhood has a newly installed playground and room to set up a favorite yard game. The 1/4 mile of river access owned by the HOA has benches to sit and enjoy the river, fish, or use one of the several picnic tables nestled among the pine trees to enjoy a meal. You can take a 10 minute walk into Rocky Mountain National Park or drive in with the park entrance just a couple miles away. Downtown shopping, eating, entertainment and amusement are also just a couple miles away. To help make everyone’s visit most enjoyable the HOA does not allow smoking anywhere in the neighborhood (and may impose a fee that would be passed on to our guests), and does not allow motorcycles, RVs or tents. Quiet hours are from 9:30 pm to 8 am and we ask that noise be kept to a minimum during these times to respect the neighbors, especially when using the hot tub. We look forward to accommodating your needs as you visit and enjoy our beautiful area. Looking for another property? Check out our other Estes Park rental Rocky Retreat VRBO #1973584

Property was clean and very well stocked. The location was perfect for getting into the park and into town. we were a group of 10 and were very comfortable.
This was a great place for friends trip. Very convenient to the entrance for RMNP. The hot tub was much used after our daily hikes. The owners were very easy to work with and quick to respond to all communication. The house was very well maintained and clean when we arrived. We hope to return here again!
The house was perfect for our family, and even better than we expected from the listing. Our kids loved the bunk room, toy space and garage activities. We enjoyed the short walk to the water and playground and loved how stocked the kitchen was. It made making meals super easy. Would definitely stay here again.
My family loved this place. It’s close to the river, away from town and such beautiful country. The hosts stayed in touch and made us feel welcome. The property had lots of things to keep us entertained.
Well equipped and laid out house - the floor plan and amenities allow for together time and some space/privacy. Hosts were available if needed. And the walking into RMNP was ab added bonus that made this trip everything we wanted. Thanks for a great stay!
We had a wonderful weekend with our adult children and grandson. The home had many amenities and was very clean! The Christmas decorations added a home away from home feeling! We would definitely consider coming to stay again and highly recommend this beautiful home for your next stay.
We were very impressed with our stay at this home. Everything was accurately described in the listing and it was tastefully recently remodeled. We had everything we needed for 8 people to stay comfortably and the communication with the owner was excellent-prompt and responsive. Location was highly convenient and the sound of the river nearby very soothing. Would highly recommend this home.
Spent a relaxing, 10-night stay at this property. Couldn't have been more perfect. Great areas for family to gather. Used the downstairs "game room" as a quilting studio for my wife. Snowed in (12 inches) for 2 of our days, and it was tremendously relaxing! High-speed internet, and plenty of games and books to stay busy. Highly, highly recommend.
Perfect house at the base of RMNP! So much to do and see in the area. House very comfortably sleeps 3 couples with nice king size beds. Basement would be the perfect set up for children with 2 sets of bunks and tv in separate space. House well equipped with kitchen serve ware and cookware. Owners very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to all our messages. I would highly recommend this home if visiting the area. Good sized hot tub available but we just didn’t have the time to use - we were just so busy exploring the beautiful national park.
We enjoyed our stay from the first moment stepped in the beautiful home! Mark and Laura were very helpful and accommodating! They really thought of everything! The kitchen was well stocked with quality dishes, flatware, appliances, etc. Notes to help you know where everything was located. Plenty of baby items for our littlest one and tons of toys for our toddlers! If you have kids don't worry about bringing any toys. They have a great variety! They even provided thick mattress pads for the pack & plays. Washer and dryer were so appreciated. Beds all very comfortable. Plenty of closet space in every room! All bathrooms very nice. Good water pressure in the showers. Playground area was a daily favorite. We also loved the river being just across the street. Easy access to town and RMNP! We enjoyed seeing a passing bear one morning and the herd of elk grazing in the front yard! We ate several meals on the front porch. The kids loved sitting at their very own little picnic table. The hot tub was amazing! Can't say enough good about Mark and Laura and their vacation home! Wonderful experience!
A very comfortable home. Kitchen is very well supplied. The location is perfect for visiting RMNP. The little kids loved the playroom and the playground. (As did the adults.)
We had an amazing stay in August. It is just a 1-mile hike into Moraine Park! The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and accommodated our big group. The kids had fun playing ping pong. The hot tub was nice after longs days of hiking. They had everything you could need in the kitchen.
This place had it all as far as amenities in the house and it’s proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park. It is only a quick drive into Estes Park downtown! It had a cabin feel with conveniences near-by! As an extra bonus, it was really accommodating for toddlers as well as the teens! It can be hard to meet that age span but this property did it well!! We highly recommend!
Family from Colorado, Texas, and Oklahoma. Mostly hung out. Enjoyed go carts and the mountain roller coaster in town. House was great, had everything we needed and more. Thanks!
