Cut Short

Getaway Weekend
Overall, the unit was clean with the exception of the moldy shower stall. The bed was comfortable and the furniture in the living area was comfortable. The hot tub was clean but only one jet works. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the private deck. WiFi worked well.

For the price per night that I paid, this property was unreasonable! The carpet was dirty… blinds broken. Mildew I’m the shower under the caulking. It was cleaned well… but so old and outdated. I felt the price should have been half of what I paid for the condition of this property.

Initially we had a pretty rough start. The person at the front desk was quite rude over the phone when I called to ask some lady minute questions. However, while the cabin is well worn, it was a very pleasant experience. Overall we had a great time.

In-house hot tub is overrated. Noisy, temp was tepid, and chorine permeates the house. Floors and carpet need an upgrade. Overhead fans are a racket. We had to keep fans running and windows open due to the chlorine. Wouldn't stay here again.

a few issues - two outside lawn chairs have broken parts and are not safe to sit in; tile is coming up in kitchen and we tripped over it several times - kind of a hazard. Otherwise, very enjoyable.

Pretty Great Location
We really enjoyed our stay here, it was a perfect location, minutes to Estes and the National Park. I really liked being out of the busy town, but close enough to get there when we needed. The hot tub was great, although a bit weird being inside the cabin. There were smells of chlorine which bugged us a bit, but we still enjoyed it. The bedroom was comfortable with two beds, but If there were more people than just us two I could see how it would get crowded in the same bedroom. The only real issue we had was that all the pans provided were unsafe for cooking in. They were teflon pans, and each one of them was scratched with the teflon so not safe for cooking or eating out of. Other than that everything else was great.

Toaster broken , smelly shower curtain that kept falling down , bugs everywhere, micrwave didnot work properly, hot tub was awfull to much chlorine burnt my nose and eyes smell was badd!! Couldnt wait to come home.

Nice location. Older but nice. Close to Estes Park and Rocky Mountains. Quiet but not as isolated as the pictures appear on the listing. Would stay here again. Chlorine smell from hot tub but not unexpected

A great spot
The cabin is a little dated but in a good way. Minutes from downtown Estes but it feels secluded and private - the best of both worlds. The place was incredibly clean and the staff were responsive. We will definitely go back and highly recommend!

Our stay was awesome! I booked the cabin for mid February not knowing what the weather would be and it wound up being a snow day. We had a fireplace and a hot tub in the living room so that was just perfect! The softest and thickest towels I’ve ever used. The cabin literally had everything we needed. We will stay here again.

Overall the location was wonderful and the room was as advertised. Updating the room would make it top notch. For myself, my boyfriend, and our dog it was lovely. Keep in mind that someone will come to your room daily to check the hot tub, but the staff is wonderful.

Estes Park Cabin
We stayed one week in this cabin; including my wife and puppy. The cabin is a convenient to Estes Park downtown (1.5 miles) where markets, restaurants, and shopping are abundant. The cabin is less than 3-miles to the Rocky Mountain National Park. There are local hiking trails that offer full trail access to dogs. The cabin is cozy and comfortable with comfortable beds, gas fire place, indoor whirl pool, large shower (with great water pressure), and a full kitchen. We love he cabin and setting and will definitely react again when we return to the area. I highly recommend this cabin rental.

Well equipped for visit to Estes Park
Nice, clean cabin equipped with everything we needed for our visit to Estes Park. The location is close to the national park entrance and a short drive (5 min) down to Estes Park. There are lots of cabins and lodges on this stretch of road, all along a scenic creek and connected by a walking path. We didn’t spend much time in the cabin, but it was comfortable and clean.

Location, location, location
We loved this cabin! Only 4 miles from the entrance to the park and minutes from the grocery store and places to eat. We enjoyed watching tv from the hot tub and the bathroom and shower are huge. It was a wonderful place to stay for our honeymoon and we would highly recommend!

We really loved our stay in this unit. It was clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful views. Staff was super friendly. The only thing I would suggest is better window coverings in the bathroom but other than that it was perfect. We will definitely book again.

Mini me vacation
I walked into a spotless cabin thank you housekeeping for doing such a magnificent job of cleaning. The woman who checked on the indoor hot tub was efficient and super friendly. I had a very relaxing time taking many walks enjoying the river, driving into Rocky Mountain Park and enjoying the views. I would and will consider staying here again and will suggest it to friends looking to stay in Estes Park

Gave my parents a week in Estes for Christmas. They said the check-in process was simple and straightforward. They loved that the hot tub was inside. The location was great and the property was clean. But most imprtantly, their dogs loved it. ;) They said they'd stay there again in a heartbeat!!

Don't assume you are alone.....
Is it a ghost?? Is it a bear??? Is it a mouse???? ....... We truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was easy, no-nonsense booking and checking in. The owner was quick and responsive to my messages to add on our dog as a traveler. We loved that it was clean and dog friendly. Very cozy! We spent 95% of our stay there just enjoying the peace and quiet relaxing in the hot tub or watching a movie by the fire. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was big and the shower was wonderful. We did wish the hot tub had stronger jets but it still did the trick. It was cold, windy, and snowy on our trip so we didn't get to enjoy the deck and grill like we hoped but the cabin was cozy so we didn't mind, we will definitely be back. Also, a note to other travelers, Estes Park doesn't have Door dash or GrubHub available, so finding delivery was a bit challenging outside of the usual pizza. We did have dinner downtown at Claire's restaurant, which was a nice atmosphere (we loved the yacht rock music) and the food was delicious! Highly recommended. The cabin felt very private even though it is located among other cabins. The back has climbing rock and a fence between the cabins and it feels very secluded. But I will leave you with this... Never assume you are totally alone. The bedroom is located in the back with Big (8x10-ish) windows looking out to the climbing wall of rocks. My boyfriend and I were in the bedroom around 10am on our first morning, participating in some "adult olympic games" with the curtains wide open, when our dog began barking hysterically. My first assumption was that we were being visited by an elk, bear, or some other cute mountain creature...a rabbit, mouse, or even a ghost. Nope. It was the maintenance gal who dropped by unexpectedly to add chlorine to our hot tub in the house. So... NEVER assume you are alone. And my apologies go out to the poor woman, just trying to service the hot tub who may be scarred for life, and probably requires weekly therapy now. A word to the wise... shut the curtains. ;) LOL

It was cozy and comfortable. I loved that you can hike just above the cabin. The shower was incredible. The kitchen was well furnished, but if you plan on doing a lot of cooking, I would recommend bringing your own chef's knife and a cutting bored.
