The Ranch
Nestled below Mount Olympus and Park Hill, this land was first settled in 1872 with The Coach House serving as the last stagecoach stop into the Estes Valley for Alexander MacGregor's toll road. Traces of the road are still visible today.
The ranch later became the summer retreat of Frank Crocker, from whom the ranch got its name. The Crocker Ranch has a number of historical associations and now invites guests to enjoy the same quiet mountain beauty, updated with thoughtful modern touches.

We enjoyed getting away for a few days and Coach House was a perfect for our family. We appreciated the large family room with fireplace where we gathered to talk, play games, and watch movies.
We loved our stay at Crocker Ranch. The house was spacious with plenty of room to spread out and relax. Only complaint was that it got very hot, and we would’ve loved More fans to help us cool down.
overall, the house was in a great location, and we were pleased.
We were amazed that a beautiful property like this is available to rent on VRBO. Such a beautiful ranch and historic log home that is very comfortable. Great kitchen. Nice bathrooms. Very clean. Loved our morning and afternoon walks on this beautiful property. No need to leave to see the mountains!
Property was exactly as advertised. Property management was very helpful. Property was in an excellent location. Most of us were seniors, grab bars and nonskid in the tub showers would have been good

If you want privacy, lots of room, a historic location, and easy access to town and outdoor activities, this is the rental for you! Beautiful 4 BR, 3 full baths, large kitchen and dining area, large LR with fire place, sunroom, and all the outside space you can imagine on a working ranch. We saw elk, moose, turkeys, and chipmunks all right outside our property. The resident 4 horses were all very friendly and greeted us daily on our walks. Other than our family, no one else was ever seen on the property. Estes Park is only a mile away, but you feel completely isolated in the wilderness.
The property does allow pets, even though some of the rental language suggests otherwise. The only suggestions for improvements would be some upgrades to kitchen appliances/utensils (need a Keurig, steak knives, and more bowls). The smaller refrigeration unit in the kitchen is actually a freezer, not a combination unit. We found out the hard way when some drinks froze inside the unit. Please clearly label this as a freezer only.
We loved our stay and look forward to returning again soon!
The house was comfortable and spacious and a great place to stay with family

Crocker Ranch was Amazing!
The Ranch was amazing and to be a part of history on the stagecoach line will not be soon forgotten. I was a little disappointed with the care of the house: The kitchen was lacking serving bowls and storage containers, but the basics were available, many light bulbs were burned out, screens were broken on doors and unusable and the over all cleanliness was lacking a bit, however, none of these things overshadowed the peace and tranquility of our stay. We would definitely stay here again!
