Easy access to Estes Park and RMNP. Surrounded by boulders, hills, streams, and wildlife. Very clean and comfortable, and the views out of the front windows are unbeatable. We plan on returning to this property later this year.
Bishop's retreat is a beautiful property with great views of the front range. The house is comfortable, well maintained and the kitchen well equipped. We had four generations of my family there and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
What a wonderful visit we had. The mountain views were spectacular. The elk walking through the yard was such a treat. The early morning coffee on the deck with family was so relaxing. Everything we needed was available and so close to downtown Estes Park. We would definitely recommend this cabin and hoping we can stay there again in the future.

Bishop's Retreat at RMNP
Located very close to the Beaver Meadows entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park with beautiful southerly views and deer walking right by the property, this was a great base for our trips into the park. Main living areas clearly original with updated bedrooms, kitchen and baths. Felt very private, backing up to the mountain and few nearby properties were occupied in mid-October. Would definitely go back!

Paradise in heaven
Pictures dont do enough justice for this place. The only thing we regret is that we did not stay longer. How often you get to see group of Mule deers at your backyard? Elks just a few miles away and wake up to a awesome view of snow capped Rocky Mountains. The place was neat and clean with more than enough room for our family. We will come back again for sure.
Fantastic private location with the best view of Longs Peak. It was the perfect location for going to Rocky Mtn National Park, Estes and the YMCA of the Rockies.
Would love to stay there again. Recommend this place without hesitation.

Everything is clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. The girls had a great time building a fire. It was close to everything we wanted to do at Red River Gorge.
The checkin was very easy. The cabin has everything you will need. The view off the deck of Long’s Peak is spectacular. Entrance to RMNP is like 5 minutes away. Very quiet part of Estes Park.
We had a great experience at this property. We had planned a wedding in Rocky Mountain national Park, and even though it was cold and snowy, everything went off as planned. The home was well appointed and well heated. We had plenty of space for our guests, plenty of hot water for showers, and enjoyed our stay immensely.
Absolutely loved our stay at Bishop’s Retreat! The cabin is perched on a stunning mountainside with breathtaking views of Longs Peak and other snow-capped peaks—we spent hours just relaxing on the deck, taking it all in. The location couldn’t be better: incredibly close to the RMNP entrance, which made it easy to beat the crowds and enjoy early morning hikes. The home itself is spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—from toilet paper and tissues to coffee, spices, and even dish and laundry detergent. All the little touches made a big difference. This is a true mountain gem—we’d come back in a heartbeat!
House is spacious and close to RMNP. Beautiful views. No lights that work around stairs outside makes it unsafe to walk up that many steps in the dark. Master suite carpet is stained and dirty. Room is very outdated, musty & old smelling. Downstairs bedrooms are also musty and old smelling with small dangerous stair case to get downstairs (thankfully we didn't have anyone staying down there). Beds are hard as a rock and very uncomfortable. Was expecting better for the price.
This is truly a spectacular home in the heart of Estes Park. It was very easy to get to wherever we wanted to go in Estes Park from here. The view is stunning and it feels very private as the properties in this neighborhood are expansive. There is an easy entrance to the ground floor bedrooms from the front porch, that has easy access just off the driveway. You should plan to use that entrance to take in the belongings for those planning to sleep on that floor. Everything else should go in the front door entrance. There is so much room for everyone to gather together at the huge dining table just off the kitchen that naturally flows into the comfort of the main family room. Which was really nice in the evening to gather and play games, eat, and do puzzles. The first thing I did was pull up the blinds for the numerous windows to see the striking view. We all enjoyed coffee on the wraparound porch. I would certainly stay here again.
We hosted a five day family retreat (6 adults) at Bishop's Retreat. Nothing to say but ... Perfect!! Spacious house, kitchen and entertainment spaces first class. Patio and view off the charts! I can't say enough! Highly recommended.
The view from the front desk is spectacular, sunrise in particular. Pricey, but worth it in my opinion. Lots of space if you're having a crowd (we had 7).
The house was very spacious for our group of 6. Everyone had their own space and the community areas were awesome. Broad spacious views of the Rockies, short drive into town, just an overall great weekend. Downstairs bedrooms had external private access, or a very tight spiral staircase from the living room area for internal access. We managed it pretty good, but if you had little ones, you may want to bring a gate to ensure they don’t tumble down. Upstairs room is a whole floor to yourself and extremely comfortable. Exterior spaces were more than enough for our group. Would stay here again, but would take the listing recommendation to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels since extras are not provided beyond the initial rolls when you arrive.

Great stay in large cabin home!
Our family had a great stay here! The house is secluded from others and has an amazing view of Longs Peak +. Our group of 8 could be together while never feeling crowded due to the expansive kitchen-dining-great room area, the deck, and the grounds in front of and behind the house. Kids loved exploring. The mule deer passing through seemed so peaceful. Clean, well-appointed, historic but modernized, close to the town and Park = amazing!

Fabulous stay
Great cabin in a marvellously quiet location. A big thank you too, to the SkyRun property team who were really understanding and allowed us to stay well past our checkout time when our rental car had broken down and the rental company (Fox) let us down with a replacement vehicle.
