About this property

Aspen Suite - Hot Tub, Minutes to RMNP, Walking Distance to Mary's Lake

  • Welcome to the Aspen Suite, a charming mountain retreat nestled on 8 private acres in beautiful Estes Park. Ideally located within walking distance of Mary's Lake, just minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes Park, this peaceful getaway offers the perfect balance of convenience and seclusion.
As you step inside, you'll be welcomed by a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The comfortable living area features a fireplace, creating the perfect setting to relax after a day of hiking, wildlife viewing, or exploring the mountains. Thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind, the Aspen Suite provides a warm and relaxing space to call home during your stay.

The suite features two well-appointed bedrooms. The first bedroom offers a double queen bunk bed, making it ideal for families or groups of friends, while the second bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed for a restful night's sleep. A full bathroom with all the essentials is conveniently located within the suite.
The kitchenette is equipped for preparing light meals and snacks and includes a mini refrigerator (please note there is not a full-size refrigerator), a four-burner cooktop, small oven, microwave, coffee maker, and sink. While not designed for extensive meal preparation, it provides everything needed for a comfortable stay.
One of the highlights of the Aspen Suite is the private outdoor space reserved exclusively for your use. Enjoy your own backyard retreat complete with a private hot tub, outdoor seating, and beautiful mountain surroundings. Whether you're soaking under the stars or enjoying a morning cup of coffee, you'll have your own secluded area to unwind and take in the natural beauty of Estes Park.

The Aspen Suite is located within a larger home that was formerly operated as a bed and breakfast. While there are two additional suites within the residence—one occupied by the owners and one occasionally rented to guests—the Aspen Suite functions as its own private accommodation with a separate entrance and dedicated outdoor space. Guests should not need to share amenities or common areas and will rarely, if ever, cross paths with other occupants during their stay. Think of it more like a private condo within a larger property, where your suite and backyard are entirely your own.

Whether you're planning a romantic getaway, family vacation, or mountain adventure, the Aspen Suite offers a peaceful and private basecamp for experiencing all that Estes Park has to offer.

Very quiet space. Home is shared with other units and as mentioned in previous reviews there weren't many kitchen utensils as we preferred to cook in rather than eat out so we did improvise a little. Over all it was a great place to relax and enjoy the mountains.

Cute cabin, but a couple of issues

First off, I would recommend you require the property manager to verify the heat is on the day you are meant to arrive. We arrived in the late afternoon and the cabin was about 60 degrees. Since the heat is radiant (heat in the floor) it took about 5 hours to warm up. They likely try to save cost when it empty, it just takes too long to heat back up. It was hard to sleep the first night. They also forgot to provide TP, which meant we had to make an unplanned trip to town. Although it may be noted on the advertisement, I didn't notice that it is not a single family cabin. There was at least one other tenant (possibly two). We never crossed paths, but it felt odd walking past their windows on the way to the hot tub. Keep in mind the refrigerator is a small college room type. And be advised there is minimal cooking utensils. Overall we were pleased with our stay, but Im not sure we would have picked it realizing the issues I outlined above.
