"I enjoyed my three night stay here. The room is attractive, clean, and maintained. The staff is gracious. The location is very close to the heart of Sultanahmet without being right in the bustle.
Two things to note: the pictures of the rooms are mixed up on the listing, so you may not get the room you see. The hotel sign is above the door next door to the lobby entrance, so of you arrive after hours and must knock, knock one door to the left."

"The location is perfect. Restaurants, souvenir shops, grocery stores, and a money exchange office are within walking distance.
Some points for improvements: 1) one of the two air conditioners was broken, 2) there were no sheets for sofa beds in the room, and 3) the Wi-Fi was slow.
Overall, the room is large enough for a family, and it was a comfortable stay."

"Hotel was clean, was in a wonderful location, and the staff was helpful (although English challenged). Hotel was quiet and very clean. Surrounded by wonderful restaurants.
Breakfast was extensive and although not to OUR tastes was well liked by all other guests.
Had a heating problem with our room which was fixed by the next night. Would certainly stay again.
Suggestion: Do NOT book the night dinner cruise on the Bospherous. Bad food but good entertainment. Expensive. Take a day cruise instead.
We booked an official Turkish guide through the hotel and were very satisfied with him and official Turkish guides are highly regulated and VERY knowledgable.
In all of our travels on the Med. we liked Istanbul the best over Rome, Barcelona, Lisbon (although all of those are world class cities).
NOTE: Change money in Turkey. Evidently everybody does and the exchange rates are MUCH better than we got with our bank and there appear to be currency exchange kiosks with 4 on every block. Almost everybody LOVES dollars or Euros but carefully note the exchange rate that merchants are giving. Turkey appears to be a bargaining culture and tips are appreciated although not expected.
We found Turkish merchants to be persistent but NOT objectionable. Turkey is NOT a touching culture.
Arrange airport pickup through the hotel. The "new" Istanbul airport is large and modern with a LOT of walking and poor English signage. Note that Turkey is not an EU country with significant passport procedure"
"The staff are exceptional, reception, room staff, breakfast, everyone.
The breakfast were very goods d the cleaning staff were very prompt and did a great job.
There was a shortage of clothe hangers which needs to be addressed, that is my only complaint."
"Staff were excellent. Breakfast was phenomenal with lots of tasty local options.
Room was very spacious and beds were very comfortable. Lots of hot water.
Location is perfect for local attractions e.g blue mosque and hagia sophia"
"Amazing Ottoman era lounge welcomes you upon arrival with a Turkish tea and a small treat. The hotel is beautiful! Staff is friendly and give recommendations for your stay. Breakfast on the rooftop offers views of the city and water! You can spend time exploring the hotel just as much as the city. It’s located very near the train for ease of access to sites around the city. Highly recommend this hotel! "
"This was amazing! Definitely recommend staying here. Great great location to sultanahmet. Also the service is incredible everyone is more than kind to you. Also had the option to text concierge directly which is extremely nice!!!! Overall very luxurious and comfortable. "
