And the farm dogs are friendly as well - just like the farmer and his son !If you like a quiet area, and being outdoors this is the right place for you.Good pub about a 15 minute walk away - but this is across fields and through woods so I wouldn't do if it was dark."

We would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends."

"Had a brilliant week in the lakes, the cottage was superb with everything we needed available, the views from the front door are simply beautiful.The views were worth paying for alone, I have had to give the amenities a low score due to the cottage being in a rural area on the fells but thatâ€™s only because the nearest shop and pub is 10-15 drive away. My only advice would be to ensure you stock up on all necessary foods from the main supermarket if not wanting to go out again through the week. There are many amazing walks from the door here so you wouldnâ€™t need to drive from the cottage very often."
