We booked this hotel on the basis of other Expedia / TripAdvisor comments and we were not disappointed. Upon check-in (we arrived early) we read a sign on the desk that the sauna would be closed during our visit, which was annoying as we booked the hotel as it ticked this box. The person checking us in voluntarily called the assistant manager who very kindly offered us a room upgrade and breakfast as compensation.....which we accepted. Could not complain about our room on the 3rd floor, had a...

The hotel and service were impeccable. The Concierge/Doormen were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room decor was not exactly my taste, it felt a bit tacky - not sure if it was a connection to the buildings history or a nod to the neighbourhood but without explanation it felt a bit cheap.

We booked a Junior Suite, which was expensive, but lived up to expectations in that we could not fault it - the room was very spacious, with an excellent bed, fantastic walk-in robe and user-friendly bathroom. We also greatly appreciated the air-conditioning and good WiFi. The location is excellent, in a very upmarket area, and within walking distance of all Munich's wonderful museums. We dined in their casual restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it for the good ambience and delicious food. All in...

Decor and rooms are on point and very comfortable. Love how housekeeping can be requested via a touch panel when leaving your room so you don't get those awkward housekeeping door knocks. Rooms are great for solo travellers and couples as bathroom is open.
Great stay in Munich and the tram stops right outside!

Beautiful vintage styled room in a classically elegant hotel. The room was lovely, clean, roomy and a cozy base for us for a cold week in Munich. The lounge was comfortable and it was a great home away from home to explore Munich from. The choice of restaurants was great and the bar was gorgeous.
