Fabulous Filario
"Had a great experience at Filario. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and polite. Alessia at the front desk was very helpful as we were able to communicate via WhatsApp and she assisted with different requests. The GM was also very friendly and she made us feel welcome. The restaurant had a very good breakfast. The dinner however was exceptional - one of the best I’ve ever had in Europe. And finally a department that rarely gets acknowledged - Housekeeping. They were fantastic and accommodated our room perfectly to our liking especially with the minor details.
Overall the Filario exceeded our expectations and we look forward to going back soon. I miss the incredible view from my balcony ! "

"Included breakfast was excellent every single day of our stay. Best to pay the extra cost to get a lakeside room; not only for the view but also for the noise from the road right out front of the hotel. "
"Location and high quality hotel right in Como. Busy street but the closed windows make it literally soundproof at night, if you want that. Beds are crisp cottons and extras like robes and slippers are perfect. Breakfast buffet is outstanding! But restaurant suppers - we had 2- are just ok compared great restaurants nearby. "
"Reception staff was fantastic Kristi is an exceptional host.
Dining: limited choice , below standard service with attitude. You must have a reservation even on an empty dining room. Food was below Italian standard .
Overcooked pasta (possibility of frozen meal reheat it)
Rooms where better than any competitors around there so was brekfast service open rigorously 7 to 10 am , 10:04 the waiters were closing the buffet.
Suggestion: upgrade yor dinner service to simple freshly prepared choices and extend breakfast service to 10:30.

"Beautiful hotel with excellent 5 star service. You should know that the directions to arrive will direct you through narrow roads filled with pedestrians...that IS the correct route, just go very slowly through the people. We loved our stay there."

"Excellent service for the entire trip. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly with all of our needs.
Location of hotel was perfect, direct access to town centre and a great hub to travel from for all surrounding activities. Would highly recommend the venue and would gladly return if ever back in the area."
