Perfect getaway

Second time staying here. We love how close you are to all kinds of hiking trails, and being able to come back after a long day of hiking and relax in the hot tub.

We loved the fact that we could sit in the hot tub and watch the rain come down. And the cabins couldn’t be much closer to Garden of the Gods!

Wonderful Getaway

It was a beautiful stay and the hosts were very communicative. It was private and felt secluded. Great location for multiple different hikes. 10/10 would recommend and would love to come back!

Shawnee cabin in the woods

Love this place!!! So glad we discovered these beautiful cabins in the Shawnee Forrest!!! They are as described, very well taken care of, love the ease of check in!!! Host was a pleasure to work with, accommodated all our needs!! Will be back!!

Beautiful, nicely located, and well-equipped cabin!

Beautiful, nicely located, and well-equipped cabin! Very clean and easy to access. Our only issue was with the European hornets when using the hot tub at night. They were not aggressive, but really liked the light.

Turn and Burn

Wife and I decided last minute to take a quick trip to see the Garden of the Gods and to just simply get away. We found this beautiful place and have been talking about it since we left. Clean (most important) and simple. Enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub, but most importantly the privacy. I’d recommend it to anyone, hands down A+.

Checkin was no hassle and the cabin was close to all of the trails we wanted to hike. Nearest grocery store is about 30 minutes away so it is recommended to bring essentials with you.

First trip to Shawnee for our anniversary and we chose this cabin because of it’s location and were very pleased. Super close to garden of the gods which is great. Easy to find and check in, host checked in with us multiple times to make sure all was good, nice clean cabin! Our only complaint was that the neighboring 8 cabins were pretty close so it wasn’t the most private, but it also gives you a little area to walk around which is nice. And when we went to use the hot tub after our day of hiking, it wasn’t hot yet and took a while to heat up- which is totally not the hosts fault- just more of a heads up to future guests to check the temp because we forgot to as soon as we got there! We would definitely come back!
